The next morning you woke up and stretched, you then heard someone knock on your door.
"Mistress am I correct in assuming your awake?" You heard a female voice," and if so may I enter?
"Yes I am awake, and who am I speaking too?"you asked
"My mistress I am your humble servant my name is violet, the guards informed me that you were awake so I had the cooks prepare breakfast for you." Violet responded
"Oh in that case you may enter and thank you Violet." You respond
True to her name when Violet entered she had purple scales, and she was holding what looked like three slices of pork on a platter. You were about to say something until the voice said," I know what you're going to say, but remember your a carnivore now."
"There is a rumor that you had a nice talk with a little girl yesterday evening, is that true?" Violet asked
"Yes actually she said my speech moved her and gifted me this shell necklace as a token of good luck and thanked me." You said holding it up.
Violet looked at you with a smile on her face," Well that is wonderful for me to hear, and one more thing you got a message from the village up north Snowpack." Violet said giving you a letter, is there anything else you need from me my mistress?"
"No thank you Violet you can stay if you wish though, I'd like to get to know you." You responded
"Oh," Violet said surprised," okay then let's talk then."
"Tell me about yourself Violet." You said to her
"Well I am 219 years old I grew up here as a child here, living under my mother, my father died saving us from a storm and that memory has scared me, however I studied all I could, and got a job here how about you?" She asked
The voive chimed in," You are 226 years old got it and yesterday was your birthday."
"Well I don't remember much about my life before appearing hear, but I do remember that technically yesterday was my hatchday," You said remembering how reptiles are born," I am 226 years old and my name whichis Jade, but before I arrived here I was in a black limbo and there was a voice that told everything about my destiny, and my mark to be honest I was quite surprised to find where it is now,"you said showing Violet your breast," and so I appeared here already knoing my purpose, and the most unfamiliar thing besides people right now is this world, but it's still better than that limbo I was there for years and if it wasn't for the voice I would have gone insane." You finished," but your story sounds more tragic I can only imagine how you felt then and now telling me this I'm so sorry for you Violet."
You saw Violet tear up,"thank you for understanding mistress," Violet said
"Don't worry and if it's not in public I'd prefer if you just called me Jade," You said feeling a tear roll down your cheek.
"Send for me if you need anything else Jade and again thank you, and the reason I told you all of this is because of the child read the letter when you get a chance I think it's important." Violet said wiping a tear from her cheek.
