Samuel and Samantha, or as they would be known in school Sammy-1 and Sammy-2, respectively, had just gotten their food and sat back down at their table and tried to make small talk with each other, not knowing what they would "create":
---
"So, how are your lessons going?" Asked Sammy-1.
"They're doing fine," replied Sammy-2, "I'm probably going to be in the same class as you are. The only thing I have mixed feelings about is the fact that they have all Animalians watching both 'America: The story of Us' and 'Humanity: The Story of All of Us'."
"Why is that?" Asked Sammy-1.
"On the one hand, it helps us understand both the human world we're now a part of. On the other hand, it saddens me to show both how humans can be very cruel toward each other, and why."
"I know," said Sammy-1, "You'd think that, humanity being all one species, that it would be easy to have peace amongst themselves."
---
"... and I can never truly understand these human 'politics' as they call them." Said Sammy-2.
"I do know that some animals put on a display to attract attention from a suitable mate," acknowledged Sammy-1, "but the way some people try to show themselves to be better than their rivals is shameful. It's not as if their trying to sire a new generation with their country as a whole."
---
"I've also heard that human students are often making sexual advances on many of the Animalian students." Said Sammy-1.
"Can't human just stick with a season like we do?" Asked Sammy-2, both disgustedly and rhetorically.
"The way they go on about it, it's like they're always in heat or rut." Agreed Sammy-1.
---
"... but I just don't see why having more money than everyone else automatically makes you better than those around you." Said Sammy-2.
"I just don't understand money in general." Replied Sammy-1 "If someone has something in surplus that someone else wants, it should be easy to part with and get."
---
This kind of philosophical debate continued for another two hours until Clara came up to them.
"Sorry to interrupt," she said, "but the Animalia Friendship Panel is about to begin." Sammy-1 and Sammy-2 quickly looked up at the large clock.
"Whoops, almost forgot." Said Sammy-1.
"We'd better hurry if we don't want to miss it." Said Sammy-2, both hurrying to their feet and racing to the theater room where the panel was taking place.
Meanwhile, in the Great Hall Security room, a philosophy professor from Las Vegas University was making notes on Animalia society. After witnessing the debate between Samuel and Samantha, he quickly wrote this note in his notebook:
Animalia society, at least among those who started as mundane animals, seem less susceptible to vices such as greed and pride. It also seeems to be based on a more flexible version of socialism, with some egalitarianism mixed in.
