I laid on top of my jeans staring up at the ceiling in the darkness of my new bedroom. My jeans felt rough against my form. My new form that is. I just finished transforming into my other form. I could somewhat make out myself in the full body mirror before me. Any average person walking into the room would see nothing out of the ordinary. There was just a pail of clothing on the floor, worn socks, a shirt, jeans, and on top of the jeans, a pair of white underwear. Little would anyone know that the pair of whitie tighties was in fact a boy named Conner.
Yes, I know this is an embarrassing form, I have still not gotten used to it and dare not tell anyone, and plan to keep it that way. When my roommates return I will just play dumb, not speak, not move… not that I could in this form anyhow.
Normally I am more prepared than this, before sundown I situate myself into a location where I would be discreet and out of the way, normally in the corner of my room or under my bed. I have on certain occasions just collapse with the rest of my clothing and that has ended up with me either being tossed in the lost and found, stepped on, or tossed into the laundry bin which isn’t fun. Sometimes when I want to feel the comfort of my bed, I transform in between my sheets. But if my family members ever came in to collect laundry they would normally always find me and toss me into the washer. Which means I have to spend the entire next day stuck in this form in the washer and dryer. And normally that means that when I do have a chance to turn back human I am stuck in a drawer which is quite painful to get out of. Today, I didn’t calculate the sunset of this new area, I forgot this was an earlier timezone and now I am stuck in the awkward situation of either revealing my form, or being known as the messy roommate who just tosses his clothing everywhere. At the moment I would much rather do the later.
Just then my roommates Dylan and Kevin returned, they were talking but I couldn’t hear them too well. They walked towards my direction and stopped to continue chatting. I think they were talking about me not being in the room. Kevin the living chair started walking around the room in a horse like manner tidying up the room.
“So I guess Conner isn’t here,” Kevin said. “Shame too, I was curious to know what his form is.”
“I hope he’s also a dog,” Dylan said with puppy dog eyes.
Dylan still in human form walked up to this bed and laid down.
“Hey, do I need to turn you into a broom? I need help dusting up this place and these wooden nubs don’t work well as fingers.”
Dylan, remembering the chair was a senior student and thus his superior quickly short up and grabbed the broom to sweep up.
“Geez, I wish Conner put his clothing in a laundry bag or something,” Kevin said as Dylan noticed the pile of clothing by the mirror.
From Conner’s perspective he could see the large bristles of the broom sweep his entire form and clothing to one corner. He laid there trying not to make a sound as Dylan continued sweeping.
After an hour Dylan must have forgotten about the clothing as Conner was greeted with the giant sole of Dylan’s shoe being planted in his face. He was about to scream from the surprise but held himself remembering he did not want to make a noise, and tried to play dumb by posing as nothing more than a pair of ordinary undies.
Dylan continued stepping on Conner’s thin cotton form, his shoe slipped which caused part of Conner’s strap to stretch. He could hear the strain of his threads sound as if they were about to tear.
Just then he heard a knock on the door. Kevin got up to open the door with his chair legs. It sounded like another student but Conner could not see from his angle.
“Hey there Kev, sorry to bug you, but I forgot to bring my undies from summer storage so am fresh out of a pair for the night. Would you mind if I borrowed a clean pair from you?”
Kevin looked around and then motioned to himself, “Do you think I look like I wear underwear?”
“How about your roommate?”
“Sorry,” Dylan said, “I go natural, without them. Makes transforming into a dog easier when I don’t have to deal with them.”
“Oh…”
“Wait,” said Kevin, “Maybe Conner has a pair you can use. He is not here right now but I am sure he wouldn’t mind.”
Kevin looked around but no luck.
“Wait,” Dylan said, “I think I saw two pairs here.” Dylan bent down and picked up Conner. “Yeah this pair is cleaned, his dirty pair is still in his jeans.”
“You sure about that,” said the kid by the door.
“Oh yeah, my dog sense of smell tells me this is new.”
“Well alright.”
Just as Conner was getting used to the feeling of being picked up and hung in the air, he was handed to another student he never seen before. He was a skinny looking emo kid. But the one thing he noticed was the feeling of the cold fingers.
“Wow thanks. I will bring it back in the morning.”
Shoot, thought Conner. He did not want to be worn, he was never worn before and did not want his first day of school to be the moment. “Wait, wait!” He shouted. Everyone froze.
“Kevin, was that you?”
“No…”
“Did someone say something?”
Shit, what now? Conner was not sure, did he speak up and reveal himself, embarrassing himself in front of everyone with his new form? Or does he just go silent and allow this other kid to wear him? Conner was not sure.
