"Genie, I wish to be turned into an anthropomorphic lion!" You blurt out. "You can do that can't you? I don't have to be turned into the whole thing, do I?"
The genie looks at you and puffs at his cigar. "I can certianly can do that, Master. After all you will still be changed into an animal." With that, the hare-genie raises his paws over his head, the cigar held between to paw-fingers. He looks at you, winks, and draws his paws downward in a rush.
You look at yourself, expecting to see a lion's body, but nothing is different.
"Just wait, it takes time to get started." The genie says to your disappointed look. He hops over to a spot and settles in to watch the show.
You idly start to scratch your neck, it feels like you need to shave. Then you neck really starts to itch. You feel your hair lengthen under your fingers, but it has a softer feel to it. Almost like...fur! The itching stops shortly, but the fur keeps growing. The tingling of the fur spreads up and around your head, and you run your fingers through your growing mane.
"Wow! This is great!" You say, but it's deeper than your remember. You itch all over now, the fur growing over your entire body. You feel a tremor run through your body, but don't pay it much mind.
The genie watches on, puffing away at his cigar, glad that you're enjoying your wish.
Reaching up to pet your thick yellow mane you admire your arm. Is it thicker than before? More muscular? You flex your arm and do indeed see larger biceps. You feel your clothes getting tighter. Newly grown fur and developing muscles are fighting the contraints of the fabric.
You let out a growl you never thought you were able to as you keep changing.
