"What are we going to do Kat!?" sad Daneille.
"Shut up," said Kat.
"I can't believe you're dating a guy who has human traffickers in his phone book," Susan said to Rachel. "How were there no red flags there?"
"Shut up, please," Kat said.
"He told me he was in sanitation," said Rachel.
"Oh good!" Susan said.
"Kat! He's going to sell us to perverts!" For someone that was new to the whole girl thing Danielle was sure getting the screaming part down fast. "Or to some really morally bankrupt sushi place."
"Would you ALL. PLEASE SHUT. UP!" Kat sat there panting for a moment. "I need to think."
Danielle turned towards Kat with her hands on her hips. "Who says you are the one who has to come up with the plan?"
"Well I don't see any other witch... around..." She smiled at Danielle.
"What?" Danielle said.
Todd came back with a smirk, but the mermaids gathered around with determined expressions made him pause. "And what exactly is going on here?"
Kat swam forwards. "Well we were just discussing about how witches in my family work."
Todd scoffed, "Like I care."
"You should, you see every woman in my family become a witch when they turn 18. But I think that it's not the eighteen years that makes a difference, it's that you're physically mature."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"And it just so happens that mermaids physically mature at age fourteen. And it turns out you can do spells without a wand if you have two witches."
Todd blinked. "What are you-"
Danielle swam up next to Kat. "Let me introduce you to my sixteen year old sister."
