Ogling at the new baby; Eric, Frieda and Spencer were having an pleasant time with Spencer’s parents. Spencer having a chance to hold her baby brother as Evan and Maggie look on; Amanda who was also present and being patient, took this as her opportunity to speak to both Evan and Maggie.
“First off,” Amanda speaking; “congratulations, I know you must have had a trying time during the labor.”
“It was a shock,” Maggie responding; “as a doctor I know that gestations are never an exact science. Every pregnancy is different.”
“Spencer was a week late if I recall,” Evan chiming in; “and she was a struggle to bring in.”
“And now she is married,” Amanda look at the three admiring the baby.
“What,” Evan looking shocked; “since when?”
“Since their bond formed,” Amanda sighing; “just nine months ago.”
“Oh my,” Maggie putting the pieces together; “they had a were-wedding. That explains things.”
“A what,” Evan looking confused.
“For a natural born were,” Maggie rolling her eyes; “you seem to be bereft in were-weddings.”
“Then educate me,” Evan speaking up; “and is this something we need to talk to spencer about later on?”
Both Maggie and Amanda inform Evan what a were-wedding is. Giving him the basics; this involves a small gift and a few words, with the moment ending in a wild passionate rut. The only major change is a subtle change in their scents; each lover having the scent of the other permanently lingering on the other. Evan still looks confused.
“They are married in the eyes of nature,” Maggie adding; “most kind of treat their were-wedding as a marriage proposal.”
“What,” Evan still not getting the whole thing; “first you say our daughter is married and now she isn’t?”
“Not legally,” Amanda clarifying; “at least not in the eyes of the government.”

“Jean,” Regina growling; “stop tormenting you brother.”
“For Christ sakes sis,” Peter wincing; “can’t you lay off? I was shot at.”
“Your no fun,” Jean sulking.
“A bullet invading one’s body is never fun,” Peter wincing; “I nearly died!”
Peter was shot as a Daniel Parker wanted his 66 Mustang. On route to the hospital, Peter Talbot had a rather intense conversation with a strange man in his dreams. Being accused of being gay when he wasn’t, was the drive the were-lion needed to fight back to live. Roaring awake and exploding into his were-lion fursona; Peter inadvertently broke the arm of the were-rabbit paramedic trying to save his life. Now recovering in the hospital in a private room as he is still in his fursona; Peter was lying in bed as his mother and sister along with his sister’s mate visit him.
“So dad told me you two had a were-wedding last night,” Peter looking at his sister and Nate; “Does this mean you’re moving out now?”
“No,” Jean smiling; “it just means Nate will be staying over more often and I staying at his place more as well.”
“The next hurdle is informing my parents,” Nate sighing; “after all I’m still in high school.”
“Can’t help you there,” Peter answering; “hell I can’t even get up to take a piss.”
“They’ll take the catheter out of you eventually,” Regina looking at the collection bag at the side of his bed; “I’m sure the nurses will make you get up to use the washroom properly then.”
“Well that explains why I feel so much discomfort in my crotch,” Peter looking sour; “think you can get me something to eat mom? I’m hungry.”

“So let me get this straight,” Evan finally wrapping his head around the concept; “Eric, Frieda and Spencer are married, but not married.”
“Married in the eyes of nature,” Maggie correcting Evan; “Theirs is unique, what with their bond.”
“How did I miss that,” Evan looking at his daughter holding his newborn son.
“It’s because you can be blind to everything yet what is in front of you,” Spencer speaking up; “we three can hear you chat. It’s not a large room after all.”
“We are going to have a talk about this later Spencer,” Evan yawning; “right now your mother would like to rest and I need to help your grandfather at home.”
“Guess it off to my place,” Eric speaking; “time to tell my parents and see how they will take that I’m married to two girls.”
“This should be fun,” Amanda rolling her eyes; “but at least its far easier than what Benton is doing.”
