You woke up on some sort of hospital bed, and looked around to see a doctor sitting in a chair right next to you. "Hello there miss I don't believe we've officially met, I'm Dr. Brigham." The doctor said, and helped you down from the bed. You were speechless seeing your new body for the first time,"You must have so many questions, but first you should get aquainted with your new body." Dr. Brigham said pulling up a mirror. You saw that you were a female dragon kid, probably not much older that 5 or 6. You had red, and yellow scales accompanied by your claws which thankfully had opposable thumbs.
"What happened, before I reborn? I say reborn loosely all things considered." You said with a childish girly voice.
"Well I can't really answer that, nor can anyone here actually. You've been here in stasis for over 90 years, and all records before that have been destroyed during a system corruption. However, it's good to know that you've retained your previous intellect. We've slowed your aging to a near halt, but you still age just very slowly compared to humanity as a whole." Dr. Brigham said.
"If you could slow my aging why haven't you done so for others?" You asked, and Dr. Brigham answered,"Because if we did use the method on ourselves, it could cause catastrophic damage to our DNA, but as for you we've given you a gene to counter-act that detail. This gene could only work for reptiles though, and it successfully worked for you, and you're half human actually."
