Your refection in the guard room microwave shows a male in his early twenties with the body of a high school linebacker in a blue guard uniform, a heavy jacket hangs on a hook by the door. Your coffee dings and you fix it with sugar and lots of flavored cream. Three A.M. the clock says, two more hours of walking around a place only half the keys on your ring let you in. Your partner has keys to the other half. You know they are some kind of development company and even at this late hour their is some one in some lab doing god knows what, "Rex to Dan come in Dan" You says in to a radio. "Dan here Rex quieter than a church mouse out here" Your partner a older guard in his late twenties says. "Copy that Dan" You say. You smile at the thought that most nights are quiet ones caped off with a manly breakfast before going home. Once in a blue moon their is trouble, like last month were a man appeared clamming he had come from 1984 and then disappeared a hour latter. You looked him up too bad he dyed fore real in nineteen ninety four. His son and daughter both work here, he is in elemental research, she is a computer programmer.
Suddenly the alarm goes off, You look at the light board to see what lab the problem is coming from. Dam, its a lab that is on your ring off keys. "Dan, I have it" You say as you put your jacket on. Dam scientists always messing with crap. You run the ten yards the guard house is from the main lab. In theory its to keep the guard house safe. "Who is on housekeeping on that floor" You ask your goggles. "Alex Benson" a voice says. "Call Alex" you say. "calling Alex" the voice says in a different voice, wish they would just pick one voice, last time you voiced that the computer talked like Goofy fore a week. "Rex, are you on the way?" Alex asks. "almost their, you will have to let me in" You say. An extra layer of security is that the outside guards do not have the keys to enter the main building.
Alex a busty, curvy blond lets him in. Hard to believe she use to be a guy but she seems happier as a female.
A boom is heard as we reach the outer door of the lab.
