Pleasure Island

The burnt village on top of the hill

added by Anonymous 6 years ago O

So Alisa took the forboding right path, and soon was well away
from the crowds.

As she went deeper into the forest she could see the ruins of buildings
that clearly had been
here before
the Dungeons and Dragons exhibit
buildings and features.

She was getting the sense that there had been a much earlier
pleasure park here, one that had fallen into ruin.

Then,God not making anymore real estate.
the newer Dungeons and Dragons exhibit had been built over the ruins
of the earlier park.

Her first idea of what might have happened a long time
ago came when she saw the overgrown weedy path branching
off to the right of the well manicured
and maintained D&D path.

So she lifted up the big overhanging tree branch that largely
blocked view of the abandoned path.

So feeling curious, she pushed along the ruined path and after half hour
of the old path winding about up and down hills
the path suddenly came out of the dark and gloomy forest and
Alisa found herself staring at a ruined charred and burnt remains of a hilltop
town.

In the middle of town towered a still solid lookig
99 foot tall windmill and around it lay all the burnt town housses
and shops.

Alisa was getting a serious sense of foreboding now
and if she'd been in her right mind, would have
turned around and headed back the way she'd come.

However Alisa's curiosity got the better
of her common sense.and so Alisa entered the mysterious ghost village.

She looked in a few doorways of the shops and houses, but beyond
burnt wood beams, there were no relics of the missing

<human>
inhabitants such as pots, tables, spinning wheels, childrens toys
or such.

She froze up as she bliked her eyes at the thoughts she'd had about
missing humans.

What else could be around but humans? Alisa wondered.

So she ambled along towards the only building that looked
functional,the big windmill
in the centre of the village.

There was a solid earthen ramp leading up steeply to a
closed third floor door,so Alisa huffed and puffed as she made
her way to the top of the ramp.

The sails had long disintegrated away and the four arms were of wood that
was bleach white.

The place had been abandoned at least for a century from the
look of that bleached as bone wood timbers.

There were various wooden boxes and rusty milling machinery
piled along the walkway platform that ran along the 3rd story walls of the
windmill.

Like a century earlier someone had piled up crates of
equipment and supplies on the platform and then forgotten to take
them inside.

Alisa felt a 2nd rush of foreboding and gloom wash
over her mind.

And like the 1rst time,Alisa ignored the otherworldly warning
to flee this unholy village.

So she went to the big heavy oaken door that still hung on its rusty
pintles.

There was no lock that needed a key,but the door only opened a few inches with a groan before getting stuck again in
its frame.

Alisa's vision suddenly went blurry and so when her tresses of
firered hair caught the rays of the lowering sun,
she couldn't be sure that her hair had quickly spurted longer
under her blurred vision.

Just as sudden her vision went clear again and she
realized the Sun really wasn't going down.

It wasn't much later then noon now, plenty of time
to explore this building.

Alisa tried the door one more time, and though it was stiff, she found
if she applied herself she could get the door open a little more then a foot open.

So she squeezed herself through the narrow entrance, her bra flattening as she squeezed her way in.

Now on the other side,Alisa first adjust her bra ,brushed the dust out of
her hair
and looked around.

There was a 12 foot wide walkway running along the sides, and in the
centre the heavy milling gearworks had collapsed the floor,so that a
massive nine foot hole lay amid the ruins of broken floor boards and timbers.

There was a gabing hole in the windmills roof, and the shingles
and roof beams lay scattered about the hole in the 3rd storey floor.

Alisa cautiously crept forward towards the hole, when the
sense of foreboding and gloom arose in her mind again.

But weaker and shorter this third time...
