Rose groaned as she held her head, groggily sitting upright. Her vision cleared up and she saw she was in a vast forest; one unlike any she'd ever seen before. "Wh-Where am I?" She moaned. Obviously she was nowhere near her backyard garden where she last remembered being.
Rose retraced her steps leading up to now in her mind. She found a unique flower at the neighborhood greenhouse; one that even the florist couldn't identify, and she was an expert on all things flowering. All Rose knew was it was the most breathtaking flower she'd ever seen, and she had to buy it. The florist even gave it to her for free, saying she felt that it was meant for her. Rose graciously accepted it and wasted no time taking it to her garden to plant it among the other flowers she loved so much.
No sooner did she get it settled in the ground and watered, than it released a strange cloud of sparkling, rainbow colored pollen that swirled around her like a cyclone of glitter. As well, a heavy bouquet of wondrous floral aromas assaulted and overwhelmed her mind, causing her to pass out. That was the last thing she remembered before she found herself here.
Rose took out her cellphone to see there was no signal. "Great, can't even call anybody." She stood up, brushed the dirt and dead leaves off of her clothing and started walking forward. "Guess I can always try to find my way out of here. Maybe there's a town or road or some sign of civilization. Fine mess you got yourself into, Rose." She said to herself.
Little did Rose realize, she was being watched by a figure in the trees the whole time; one of the flower fairies, bearing petals of violet and lavender. "Strange clothing, a talisman of glass and metal; and she even bears the name of a flower." The flowery girl said. "Could she be the one?"
