Our story begins with the dragon-kin, who take sides with both humanity, and draconic races. Dragon-kin have a goal to unite dragon, and human races in the war as one faction. However while humans are welcoming to a new race willing to assist in their cause, the dragon race is split into tens of hundreds of tribes. Out of those tribes about nine have sided with humanity, while the rest are either against, or undecided due to situations.
Dragon-kin aren't exactly fighters, but they are resourceful, and specialize in magical abilities. However dragon-kin will stop at nothing to protect their homes, eggs, and families just like humans, and their families. Overall the dragon-kin population isn't too grand, but they're currently trying to get numbers up by breeding with dragons. While dragons don't share the anthropomorphic qualities of a dragon-kin the only real difference is the trait of being anthro so everything is going smoothly. Dragon-kin also share many human qualities physically, such as thumbs, and breasts for females.
In this story we see the view of a dragon-kin who finds another who claims to be human, but also claims to be not of this world. Who's view do you take?
