The perfectly preserved body but barely recognizeable body
of the long lost German rocket scientist Elsa Heidotting.
The scientists in Area 51 had had to wait for the higly pressurized
water in the capule blasted a pinhead thin stream of arcing water
to go down to more manageable levels before they could go anywhere near that
capsule.
That stream of water under pressure would have cut a man in two in
a matter of seconds if he'd crossed its path.
So they'd been content sending in a remote camera or four to peer in the water filled capsule.
The guys knew there was no Earthly machine that could contain the
massive pressures this thin as tin space capsule seemed capable of containing..
An the grainy images the remotes were sending back showed a hume female face that had already started pulling out into a reptillian
snout before whatever was going on to Elsa had frozen in time.
There was all sorts of still functioning devices crammed in the capsule around her,and one taloned forepaw was paused over
a rapidly blinking plate that was still flashing wierd rune images
at her unseeing reptillian eyes.
Wings,spiky tail horns,fanned out ears.
The flamebreathing wasn't there but the Area 51 knew they were dealing with a Earth woman turning into a
alien dragon of some sort.
"Elsa Heidotting"?
That was easy.The half dragonified female inside was still
wearing the German technicians uniform,complete with name tag,she'd worn the day she'd vanished at the Turkish-Iraq border back on July 1 1976.
