You began walking around trying to get used to your body as a whole. You giant fin on your back didn't do anything to hinder you, or help you in that matter. On top of that your muzzle made things a bit harder to move your head without hitting anything, but your instincts gave you an idea of how long your muzzle was. Your tail helped you balance your body which was massive, and thinking back you read something on how the spinosaurus was the largest carnivore during the Jurassic era, so that's confirmed. You suddenly heard a voice come over a speaker inside your enclosure,"Hello, if you can understand me can you turn around, um Ben right?" The voice said.
You turned your massive body around slowly to see a man in a lab coat behind the glass pane, and you nodded as if to say, "yes." "I see your intellect hasn't fallen to your instincts, anyways Ben you have somehow been transformed into a spinosaurus. We still don't know what caused your transformation, but we're trying to determine what happened. In the meantime, you are the only living dinosaur to this day, do you mind if we examine your body, and run some tests on DNA that we extract from your body?" The man asked. You knew he was right, and in your current situation you had to answer yes, so you nodded happily, and was glad someone was trying to help. "Excellent! Your parents are worried of course, I'll send someone to tell them your mind is untouched by the transformation. Now please standby for a few minutes, and we'll have some people with you shortly. Oh, and there's food and water on the opposite end of the enclosure it should be easy to find. I'm Dr. Anders by the way." The man said, and he left the into another room.
You were basically famished after your transformation, and you didn't want to gain the taste of human flesh so you walked over to the opposite wall, and saw a large vat of clean water, and another vat filled with raw meat. Considering you were an animal basically you didn't mind eating raw meat so you did, and actually emptied the entire vat of meat surprisingly. You licked the sides of your muzzle afterwards and after that you turned around to see a small team of scientists with a couple guards with what seemed like high power tranquilizer guns.
You slowly approached the team, and put your muzzle right next to one who seemed intimidated by your shear size. "Excuse me y..your Ben right? Can you understand my words like Anders said you could?" Another scientist asked, and you nodded and had an idea. You held up a claw to tell the team to give you a minute to do something, and the you took a few steps back from the team, and layed down on your side, and looked at the team again. "This should help them with what they need, probably." You thought as the team approached you again,"I see despite your size, and the nature of your species you seem quite docile now aren't you?" The scientist who you first approached said, and stroked your chin. You found that you were purring, and that followed up with a series of clicks.
"We have a few questions for you, and though we may not understand you it may give us something that may help us. Anyways first question, can you hint to us as to how this transformation occurred?" The scientist asked, and all you could think to do is point to your tooth so you did, and you saw the scientist writing down some notes. "Okay then, next question are you experiencing any instincts with your new form?" The scientist asked, and you cocked your head to the side puzzled. "I see that question would have been a difficult one to find out about. Anyways, have you experienced any changes in your senses such as sight, smell, etc." the scientist asked, and you noticed you could smell, considerably better than you could before so you nodded. "Alright, final question for now, can we take blood from your body, and run tests on it?" The scientist asked, and you nodded holding out an arm. You felt a slight prick, and then you heard the scientist,"Thank you, this may help us determine the cause, but for now feel free to relax here for now. Do you wish to see your parents again, they want to talk to you about what happened?" The scientist asked, and you nodded. The scientists said farewell, and you stood back up eager to talk, or communicate to your parents about what happened.
