Before you make more changes to the world, you decide to change beer and cola back to normal. You type the two words in the application and click the unlabeled button, but instead of the world swirling around for a bit, you see red lines pop up around the window. Two error messages appear: "item [beer] already switched" and "item [cola] already switched". You realize that there are rules to this application and that you have to be careful not to switch concepts that you want to switch again later.
However, you do want to try to figure out a way out. So you replace the text for "cola" with "taste of cola" and the text for "beer" with "taste of beer" and click the button. The familiar feeling of the world swirling around you happens, and when you open your eyes... nothing seems to have changed. Your "cola" still looks like beer and smells like beer. You take a sip and... cola?
Despite how it looks, the beer is most definitely just a cola. Your trick has worked. You enter "appearance of beer" and "appearance of cola" and press the button again, finding that your cola now looks like an actual cola as well. You quickly switch the smell of the two and it seems like nothing ever happened. This limitation is something you have to keep in mind from now on, but at least there is a workaround to change things back to normal...
Of course, cola is still an alcoholic drink, but you don't need to know that ;)
