Veronica was an 8 year old girl who was brought to the store of needs by her mom. Veronica smiled when she looked around the big store with a bunch of odd and interesting items. Her mother looked to her and said "be careful Veronica. This magic stuff is so... dangerous... or maybe that is the wrong word... more like unpredictable."
a second latter a mage in a brown robe materialized nearby and said "Oh don't say it like that. The only unpredictable things we sell are those that are a little damaged, and we heavily tell people not to get them unless they really need to... Your kid was looking for a game to play with her friends right? Why not just let her look around our game area and i'll show you around our make up department. We're having a sale on our fountain of youth line." his face was a little covered with shadow but he seemed to maybe be smiling.
Veronica's mother said "I really should keep an eye on my daughter though."
The mage laughed a bit and said "This store is exceptionally safe, heck she'd be in more danger in a bunker surrounded with guards. Nothing bad will happen and if it does then we'll take the blame. Even if someone were to perish we would repair everything including life."
Veronica's mother thought a bit and said "I guess so then... Veronica be careful now and don't get anything too strange!"
The mage chuckled and then guided her mother to sample some make up while Veronica went to the game and toy area. She looked around looking for something to play with her friends with and then discovered...
