You shake yourself; steeling your mind as you realize that the scent is coming from the vial and seems to be effecting your mind. "What are you trying to do?" You ask sharply; the young man with the green hair simply smiling as he gives a nod and begins making his way down the steel steps to the area below the balcony you came into the shop on. You follow him; although certainly not feeling relaxed; you do however feel suddenly very energetic and healthy. "You didn't answer my question what is that?" You ask again not quite as sharply as before.
The Storyteller leads you to an area below near a great metal sliding door like you might see on or in a warehouse at times. There is a slot in the wall that he puts the vial in and it's held perfectly; still open. "This is one of my 100 Magical Bondage Arts; I invented them you know. As my apprentice I would like to see how they would affect you; and if you could resist them. This is only the first; but you're obviously resisting it quite well. I hope that if you can properly resist them you can learn how to use them yourself." Smiling still although not with the same mischievous spark in his eyes that he had a moment ago. A little bit more serious as he looks you up and down. "This one is the first; as I said. Initial Contact; a scent that relaxes the target and makes them susceptible to suggestion."
"Magical Bondage Arts? Magic isn't real..." You say this, but even as you say it you take another look around. You make note of how the inside of the Clockworks certainly appears to be double if not three times the size of the outside; then taking a closer look you realize for the first time that the clocks hanging from the ceiling aren't actually hanging at all; you had assumed it was wires; but there weren't any; suddenly that was very very clear to you; they weren't hanging on anything at all; but levitating there beneath the ceiling all on their own. The more you looked around the less convinced you were that magic wasn't real by the moment.
"Is it?" The young man with the green hair says not even missing a beat; and giving you a wink before pulling out another vial; this one has a pink formula inside it; and the boy proceeds to pop the cork on the bottle.
