Now a short distance from where you originally left the latex trail. You found yourself in a what seemed to be a small battleground within the forest. Bullet holes littered the ground, several scorch marks left by the explosions of grenades were visible and most of the trees nearby were either badly damaged or completely spilt in half by who knows what.
You can see several foot impressions left by a large group of humans, with the worrying part being the fact that they looked recent. You suddenly realized that you were practically in a war zone and if you were careful you could either get shot or worse.
Wanting to get out of there, you quickly search around, being driven to find whatever was around here then get out.
Moving around, making sure to make as little noise as possible you instantly fail as something wet on the ground causes you to slip and comically plummet to the ground. Mud and dirt covers your face and clothes as you moan slightly from the pain. You try getting up when you feel your hands latch onto something.
It felt long like a stick and smooth and soft like... latex.
"OH SHIT FUCK!" You yell as you swipe your hand off of the rod and move back a couple of steps. You look at you hand in a hurry expecting to see some of the latex corruption spreading across your limb. You give a sigh of relief as you realize that there was no latex growing but also become more paranoid as you wonder if anyone had heard your yell.
Looking back at where you had fallen, you can now clearly see what you had touched. With half of it buried in mud was a long stick seemingly made out of a black latex like material. Curious you move towards it and pull it out of the mud, revealing that at the very tip, a small glass ball filled with a strange purple liquid that almost seemed to glow with an eerie light.
Thankfully your hand doesn't become corrupted with it and you realize that the pulling sensation you were feeling was gone now.
What is this thing?
Before you can think any further, a rustling in the bushes behind you nearly makes you shit yourself as you turn around and one of your fears is realized. You see two familiar half man half beasts return. One was that of a anthropomorphic purple wolf while the other was that of a feline blue cat man. Both of them were made completely out of latex and were both much larger than you.
Fear courses through you and for a moment you can't think, suddenly the reality of the situation hits you and you go into a defensive stance, holding the latex stick out like a weapon.
The two creatures stare intently at you unmoving at all.
A long pause happens and you start to relax slightly. They were clearly alive, but they didn't seem to try and threaten you at all.
You harden your grip on your stick and inch closer by a step. The two beasts continue to stare at you.
"Can you understand me?" You ask out loud.
The two beasts visibly nod. You give a small sigh at this, perhaps you can reason with them.
"Why aren't you attacking me?" You ask again.
The latex creatures don't do anything at all. On a spur of the moment you say
"Lay down on the ground and don't move at all."
Hearing your command, the two latex beasts do what you say, both of them laying down on their stomachs, continuing to stare at you, both of them also infecting the grass around them into latex in the process.
"Get up." You say waving your stick around slightly as you order them. You started having an idea of what was happening but you wanted to test it out first.
The two beasts follow your command and stand up, exactly like they were before and continue to stare.
"Do jazz hands." You order.
Hilariously the two latex beasts follow your command and continuously begin to wave their paws in midair, creating a funny scene of a cat and a dog doing jazz hands together.
"Stop." You say, your theory becoming more plausible.
"If something organic touches either of you, will they become infected by the latex?" You ask.
Both of them nod.
"Am I immune to the latex as long as I carry this stick with me?"
They both nod again.
"Am I your master?"
This time they fiercely nod together.
Ideas begin to pile up in your brain as you come to the conclusion that this latex stick you were holding is valuable.
"Take me back to the puddles where you came from." You order, completely relaxed now, now holding your latex wand confidently.
The wolf goes down onto all fours, signaling for you to climb onto it.
At first your hesitant at climbing into the giant hulking latex wolf man, but you move towards him and climb onto its back, making yourself comfortable as you sit down on him. Like the beasts said, their latex does not try to spread to you and you feel movement as the beasts head at a fast pace back towards where you first met them.
It took you ten minutes to walk to where you originally found the wand, but on the back of your new servant, it only took one as you exit out of the forest and enter the concrete road, filled with all of the latex goo puddles that started this whole mess. The streetlights brighten the puddles and now you can see them all. There were about twenty or so of them.
These were essentially your new birthing stations for more potential servants now. But the question was, how would you move them? How deep were they?
You look at your wand and get an idea. You hold it out and begin concentrating heavily. Sweat begins to form on your head as you see the puddles begin to shift and deform.
Denying the laws of physics, the puddles begin floating into the air and like a vacuum rush to the held out wand, being complete absorbed by it and in the course of a second, all of the puddles have been completely erased and are now all stored inside of your wand.
You concentrate again and a blast of red latex goo shoots out of your want and back into the street. This time you store the goo you shot out back into your wand with slightly more ease.
You smirk as ideas and plans start coming into your head. Right now you controlled nothing but a purple wolf and a blue cat. But that can change quickly. Perhaps in a day your army could increase by hundreds. But the question was. What would you do? Would you use your new powers to fight crime and defend your town, will you misuse your new gift and attempt to conquer, or maybe you will simply use your army for emergencies and continue to live your normal life? The choice is yours....
