You took a moment to think for a minute,"Why are their souls so spicy looking? I don't know, but spicy isn't my thing tonight. Besides I don't want to do anything that might come back and bite me, especially if it effects Master Harauphar too." You said and then caught sight of a rabbit. "Guess these will have to do for now, or at least until I notify master about those souls." You said, and then dashed for the rabbit, and killed it like the one you did before.
You spent nearly all night devouring rabbit souls, and hiding the corpses in bushes nearby as to where you killed them. Afterward as dawn approached you found a small pond to wash yourself off from the blood. After you got out of the water soaked, you felt miserable, and cold, and this made you slightly ticked. The water made everything heavy too, and eventually you couldn't take it much more, and growled in frustration. When you growled suddenly purple colored flames surged around your body, but then disappeared seconds later.
You were shocked that you did that, and didn't get burned in the process, and what's more is your fur coat was dry. You made your way back to the cottage by following the souls of masters family, and returned through the rabbit hole. When you entered the cottage you saw master staring at you puzzled almost. "Wraith, what exactly were you doing outside? I hope you didn't cause any trouble without my permission." Harauphar said
"No trouble, after you and your family went to sleep I got a craving for souls soon after. I myself wasn't tired, so I went outside and did a little soul hunting for myself. I didn't kill any humans, or anything large I killed a lot of rabbits though, and hid there corpses from sight. I also figured out I can see souls within other creatures too, and I washed off afterwards, and somehow summoned purple fire around me to dry off. I'm still not sure how I did that, but sleeping for me is not as necessary as imagined." You said
"So you're beginning to unlock your hidden senses, and you figured out how to conjure flames, but don't know how it happened. Is there anything else you would like to inform me about?" Harauphar asked
"Well just one more thing, are you aware of beings with altered or tainted souls? Because I sensed two towns of humans, one was close and normal. But the other was miles off, and the human souls seemed tainted, more spicy or something like that compared to regular souls, and that town was west." You said
"Tainted? I have not heard of anything like that, and was everyone in this town like this?" Harauphar asked
"It was hard to tell but yes I am fairly certain." You said
"I don't think you sensed humans, there is no town west of here for about 200 miles, and you said a few. I'm fairly certain that spicy sense is also an indication, that you were sensing demon souls. Demon souls are unstable, and differ from most souls, and many describe them as having fire like features hence the spicy effect. They shouldn't be a concern, or at least for now." Harauphar said,"My family has already left, so I think you should train, or do something along those lines."
