I knew it was trick but I didn't see any other way out of this trap so I thought I might as well do something clever. I crouched and turned to sprint away from the woman but just as I was about to take my first step I did a quick 180 and ran straight into her knocking her over.
"You uncouth swine!" She screamed. "I wish you...."
I quickly rounded the corner and continued my escape. Hopefully if I got far enough away from her she wouldn't be able to curse me. Then just as I was about to round a second corner my body went completely stiff. I was frozen mid stride at an awkward angle. She had me again. As I waited for her to catch up to me I noticed time was still frozen and wondered if the bodies of the townspeople were simply stuck like mine or were they frozen in time unaware I was so screwed right now.
I heard laboured breathing as the woman came running up behind me and entered my view range still naked save for her purse.
"You asshole, you could have killed me" she said through short breaths.
"Why are you still naked?" I asked trying to redirect her anger.
"You can't undo wishes." She snapped. Then she looked around and spotted a women walking her dog nearby. She approached her said.
"I wish I was wearing your clothes." And in an instant the woman walking her dog was naked and my captor was fully dressed in her outfit. She took a moment to adjust her new dress and then came back to me.
"Now for your punishment." She said slipping off my ring.
"Hey! That's not yours to take" I said with a panic.
The woman threw the ring on the ground and said "I wish you were naked." I felt a cold breeze on my skin as my clothes vanished and became very aware of how much my package had shrank from the adrenaline and cold.
"That's for stripping me and this is for the body check. I wish you had no memory of me or the ring."
