( So lets go with that word "cabin" shall we)
As we all know the druidic and celtic magical books were being written at
the same time as the British and others were puzzling out how to make steam engines.
As I recall the first steam engines were being developed around
the 1670s in order to pump water out
of coal mines.
1676AD so whilst witchcraft was just about extinct in Europe,
it was about to revive in Salem in the American colonies and
rogue steam engineers
and Pirates of the Caribean were teaming up to produce steam powered
pirate raiders to rape ,pillage and murder their way up and down
the eastern North American colonies.
Phillipe "Sacrund" LaSalle,the 4rth son of the Frenchmen who'd sailed a sailing ship called the Griffon (Gryphon) onto the Great Lakes a decade earlier.
Now Phillipe was no wizard or warlock,but the highly educated
and highly inventive fourth son of the French explorer LaSalle.
So back in 1666,when his dad Frontenac LaSalle had invited
Phillipe and his bride-to-be Catherine Marie D'Aulnoy aboard the
Gryphon for this voyage of discovery,the younf inventor and the equally
inventive Catherine Marie had accepted the invitation.
What they hadn't know was that Magnus the Magician had discovered
that the fabled all powerful Philosophers Stone
lay hidden somewhere in that sailing ship.
And so Captain Kidd,William Teach,Henry Morgan ,Sam Bellamy
( and probably Long John Silver himself)
were all sailing inwards to capture the Gryphon and make her passengers and crew
"walk the plank"
