You were covered in black scales, you had claws, horns, tail, wings, and a muzzle. You really couldn't believe what you had become until you blew a small flame out of your mouth, and thankfully didn't set anything on fire.
"Please no fires anywhere near the cabin please." Sacrund said
"A dragon..." you began then interrupted yourself,"I can talk now?"
"Yes, I can basically choose to allow you to speak at will that is if I transform you." Sacrund said
"Right, but I prefer to be able to talk, thank you." You said
"I'll make sure to take that into account for future reference, but besides that I'd like to ask a rather obvious question. What is your name?" Sacrund asked
"It's Ashley, may I ask a quick question of my own. Why did you turn me into a spider before, and especially one that could kill you too. I actually had half a mind to bite you back there too." You said
"Well the initial transformation is always random, I'm just glad you weren't extremely large. Also it's not like that I didn't anticipate what you would become either, I mean I brought the cage." Sacrund said
"I feel like you mean more when you say 'anticipate' than just a cage." You said
"Well I might have used a persuasive tactic that most use when first summoning their familiars. Basically I put you in a situation where you had to trust me, but everything I said to you was true. I can prove it too there's spell books that show the effects too." Sacrund said
"Wait familiar? Why are you using that word like that?" You asked
"Oh, you must not even understand what you are now, allow me to explain. You are a familiar, a being that is supposed to act as a servant, or assistant to a mage. Like all familiars I can use low level spells to control all of your physical traits, but I won't do anything drastic unless it's necessary, and certainly without warning you first. Anyways you are my familiar, and we are now linked by our souls, and if one of us dies the other will dies too." Sacrund said
"So basically I'm your slave for life, and not my life your life." You said
"Not exactly, for multiple reasons too, first of all there are laws in play for familiars, and this also accounts against familiar abuse. Most familiars live as companions that are seen as equals in most cases, and personally I don't want to do anything that you are against, or at least unless it's not needed. However your human life is no more, and I can't turn you back into a human,...well I can but you won't look like your old human form." Sacrund said
"Great, also I think it's worth mentioning that as a spider I kind of lost control of my abdomen a bit, and there's some webs in the cage. I'm still a bit mad that I die when you die." You said
"Actually there's a loophole for you in that. Your body doesn't age at all, and if I die naturally, or by old age then you won't be effected by the life force link and live on. Just when I do there's a policy that you must notify someone the moment I do, and you will have another choice at that point. You could become another person's familiar, a guardian, or something else along those lines. You don't need to worry about that for a while though considering my age." Sacrund said
"Well that makes me feel a lot better, so is there anything else I should know or should I try to adapt to this body. I will say that I like being a dragon a lot better than a spider, wait if you can alter me physically does that mean in any way possible, such as gender and gender related changes?" You asked
"There's laws in place against perverted alterations, and intimacy with familiars is outlawed unless it's between two familiars. There's also a law that requires concent from the familiar in the case of a gender swap." Sacrund said
"Well at least I'm not subject to any unusual punishments by perverted means." You said and jumped off the table, and fell over. "OW! Damn it!" You yapped
"You alright? Don't think you should have jumped down like that, especially since you have wings that you could have used." Sacrund said
"Yeah, just need to shake it off I guess, I'm actually wondering why I'm not injured." You said
"Actually dragon forms are a good familiar training forms, and a lot of familiars prefer to be dragons too. Dragons have strong bones that are also indestructible, and in addition to this protective, thick, and fireproof scale that resist magic in most cases. The other features are more obvious such as fire breath for defense, potential to fly, incredible intelligence, and overall are really great physically. Basically it's good because a lot of familiars like you misjudge themselves like you just did there, so practice for a bit so you can get used to it." Sacrund said
"Alright, so I can take a lot of hits, that's good...I guess. I'm not going to lie I actually seemed to like dragons in my former life, but then dragons were nonexistent. I'd be fine staying this for awhile, and it's definitely a new experience." You said
"So you would like this to be your base form I guess?" Sacrund asked
"Sure, or at least for now, so what now?" You said shaking off after your fall, and looked up at Sacrund.
"Well it's a bit late, so let's wait till tomorrow, I have two beds, and you can have the other one if you like." Sacrund said
"Sure, why not? We can talk more tomorrow, I guess, might as well get used to me now before anything else right?" You said
"For the most part yes, but this doesn't necessarily mean that I won't transform you in the time being either. But I will change you back into a dragon whenever I can, but for now I can say goodnight Ashley." Sacrund said, and he lead you into the basement which had two beds, and the room was lit by a candle.
You saw Sacrund lay down in one bed, and you crawled under the covers, and curled up to where your head was on the pillow, and muttered under your breath,"Goodnight Sacrund," before drifting into sleep. In the morning you and Sacrund....
(Note if any transformations were to happen, they don't have to split into chapters, I know it's good to provide a good to choose your best opinion (these are interactive branches after all) just don't be shy about having one or two transformations per chapter is all. Especially if those chapters don't list a specific animal, or creature.)
