Help you self a bit more.
Truth be told, all that voyage and previous events made you hungry. Sitting on that rock, under that cave you start to rememeber the documentaries that you used to watch on NG Channel and Discovery Channel. The frogs and toads were never your peak of enthusiasm but now you wished you knew more about them, maybe you'd know more about your new body. You do remember somestuff about the African Toad which was capable of eating not only bugs but small mamiferous, snakes, giant spiders and even little fishes.
"I'm bigger than 20 of those toads" you tell yourself. "What can I eat?"
The idea of being able to swallow a cat or a bird crosses your mind and disgusts you. Still unable to deal with emotions your sac fills with air and once more you feel humiliated. It's so no unnerving...like a hipcup, you cannot control and happens at the worse time!
Your eyes gaze upon your new home. There some roots coming from the ceiling and the pond you just ate from seems to be deeper and probably linked to the swamp outside. All the thinking is interrupted when you hear a fly. Your eyes immediately search for it and find it on top a smalle peeble by the water...
No! You tell yourself, this is disgusting. However you can't stop looking at it. Your mouth starts filling up with water, it form in the back of your tongue and greases it all. Your tongue behaves like a snake your mouth; it has its own life and it starts to pressure on your sealed lips. As willpower starts to fade you open the mouth and the slithering pink muscle feels the cold air.
No!, you think.
Too late...the fly is locked and you suddenly open all f your mouth letting the tongue get out. You feel the dirt and the peeble...as you retract it without thinking it swirls in your mouth. You jiggle with the impact. The fly ...you can feel it swimming around in the sea of saliva. You smashing under your gum and swallow it, curiously you feel prud about it.
"What else can you eat up...Rigid?!"
Your vision is adapted to the lack of clarity and light, so there's nothing opposing you form scanning the puddle. You detect a sudden movement on the water, it's a water-spider: eight legs, skating on top of the liquid's surface. Once again you lock your eyes, let the blood ran cold, open your mouth and...ZAP! The freaky legs tickle your mouth but with no mercy you smash it under your gums and the movements stop. It's crunchy and has a salty flavour. It makes you remember something. What is it? Is it chips? Uhmm...You try to remmeber and compare it to something you'd eat as a human but you feel that all your flavour-memories are somewhat vague. Is that an effect of the transformation. You realize you don't remember the taste of human food anymore.
The preocupation doesn't last long because soon another fly swarms by. ZAP! This one you catch middle-air.
"That's 5 points more, Rigid!"
