You let the drowsy sensations take the wheel and soon your squatting position is not just natural but very comfortable. You stand there and your eyes close. You fight the sleep but they close again and this time you let yourself go down and lay over your own body. You've fallen asleep after such a reconforting meal.
You dream about a lady with a very bright smile. Her figure brings a warm feeling to your hearth, however, she's a stranger to you...is she your MOTHER? The figure fades and your dream envelops into a muddy background. The cold and mushy sensation caresses your new skin and your dream stops. You wake up to the sound of water running – like a stream’s. You find yourself inside the cave; it wasn’t a dream after all! The pores and spaces on the cave’s ceiling let the sunlight’s clarity come through. It’s a new day outside.
You sigh deeply as you feel miserable. You look around you trying to find what else to do and to expect. Your next step is to jump right into the water for a morning bath. The freshness of the water cools you down, down there in the area. In one stroke the webbed hands and feet push on top of the water and you gliding outside of the cave – something that would have taken you five crawl strokes in your previous human body. You remember that…you remember the feeling of waking up really sleepy and letting yourself be smuggled by the comfy blankets. But that’s gone, now you feel weeds and something mossy touching your feet as you swim across the pond. You hop out of the water and stand on all fours; instinctively you launch yourself frontwards and give a gigantic leap.
Your landing is smoothed by the webbed hands.
Atta boy! Way to go, Rigid! , you tell yourself in your head. That felt rather magical. Your hearth pumped with the adrenaline and you just wished you could have recorded that. Or maybe not, thinking twice…
You proceed to hop until the Hut. Suddenly all the nerves come back to you as you stand there in front of the door of the woman who kidnapped you and changed your life forever.
“Ribbit!” you croak involuntarily, your air sac fills and you feel so humiliated. Your frog hands clumsily try to inflate it.
“Ribbit, ribbit” you’re so nervous you do it again. Now you’re in a true struggle!
“What’s all the fuss?” the door opens furiously and the witch crosses her eyes with your son the other side. She’s not amused…
“Good morning, mistress” you shyly say, hoping she isn’t too mad.
She rolls her eyes.
“Good morning, Rigid? Have you had breakfast yet?”
You nod your head.
“Then go have it somewhere else. I’ll need here by noon, though. Is that understood?”
Once again you nod and she slaps the door in your face. You turn your back and leap now as fast as you can from the Hut back into the water. SPLASH!!! You plunge into the pound and submerge completely…at least here you feel somewhat safe from her.
