Dana carefully read the label.
"What is this stuff? Dog food? You were eating dog food? I knew you were weird but...."
"It's rrr.... rrr.... rrrr ... nothing, " Rick finally managed to spit out. His throat felt strange and the aching in his jaw was increasing.
Dana looked at him with confusion, trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Then she looked at him closely, as if he seeing him for the first time. Her eyes went wide and Rick felt a twinge of fear as he realized Dana must have finally noticed the changes. She looked quickly between the label on the bag and then back at Rick, finally smiling widely at Rick.
"Come here, " she said.
Rick lowered his head, feeling his ears fall down against his head. He didn't move.
"Come here!" said Dana more firmly, putting her hands on her hips. She was no longer smiling.
With a low whine, Rick trudged forward, his head hung low in shame, almost tripping as his slender paws slipped out of his shoes. Dana rubbed her hand across his head, ruffling the fur sprouting between his ears.
"So this stuff really does work," she said with amusement.
"I changed my mind, " mumbled Rick. "I don't want to do it anymore."
"Oh no, you wanted this, you are going to get it. I am going to make sure you eat every bite of this dog food. I think you will make a much better pet than a brother. And I intend to make sure this is permanent," said Dana.
She suddenly put her hand across his nostrils. Rick's jaw opened reflexively and Dana poured the dog food down his throat. Rick choked as he struggled out of Dana's grasp, but couldn't help but swallow a large portion of the food.
His body immediately began to respond to the mixture, seeming to shrink into itself and the fur grew thicker across his body. His chest barreled out while his waist grew thinner and flatter. His forearms and legs grew thinner, while his thighs and biceps grew thicker. He struggled to slip free of the loose clothes surrounding his body. He was now nude, save the fur quickly spreading across his body.
"I .... I ... I'll tell ....Mom ..... Dad..." Rick struggled to say. His jaw was stretching into a long muzzle, making it difficult to form the words.
Dana looked down at him with barely contained joy, her eyes flashing bright with excitement.
"No, you won't. By the time they get home all they will find is the dog I brought home after school. Don't worry. I will be a good owner. If you are an obedient pet, that is. I may have to discipline you from time to time, but you will learn to obey me. Now be a good doggy and finish your food," said Dana.
