Rick tries to break from his sister's grasp, but unsuccessfully. It appears that this food' magic resets his age to a baby puppy. Not only he could not walk on his hindpaws, he even barely crawls on allfours. Finally, he feels full and sleepy. Dana decides that this dose of food is enough for a puppy, and she always can give Rick more if he starts to change back.
Before parents came, Dana threw away his clothes and some personal items. She tell parents that she does not know where Rick is. They waited for some time, next day they call a police. Investigation starts, but nothing was found except his clothes on city dump. Like another cases alike, it was closed as some unknown serial child molester in half a year.
During this time, Dana grew Rick as her pet. She said she found a live puppy in a trash bin. Parents allowed her to own a dog in memory of a lost brother. They paid for vet and vaccination. She even called him “Rick”. She cares him well, feeds with milk then a dogfood (not magic one, of course). She walks him in a park, but always on a leash.
For a Rick, he tries to identify himself many times, but unsuccessfully. Adults did not read words he made from toy cubes, and when Dana found it, she hides everything with alphabet from him. He tried to speak, but after many many tries only words he can to do was “Dad” and “Mum”, if he tried to say more, he breaks into barking like “Dad-ad-woof-woof-woof-woof”. Everybody laughts when they hear it.
But, he starts to like his new life. There are no homework, no school, no bullies. Of course, he lost computer games, but now he can play with real ones. His dog's body requires a lot of physical exercies, so he runs and jumps until was exhausted then sleeps then was ready to run more. He was happy to have strong paws instead of useless hands which could not be used for walking. He likes his tail too, it was so nice to wag. And smells – there are lot of smells! Everything is different, each place contains infinite traces of somebody was here.
Sometime he watches cartoons with Dana, but after he grew to adult dog (and dogs grew much faster then humans), he lost interests in this human activity. Cartoons have no smell. He still understands human language, can read and can't speak with other dogs, but that's all what remains from old boy Rick. He rarely recalls his former life, only sometimes he had strange dreams when he was furless and clothed like his Mistress.
Then, one day...
