Walking down the steps to the kitchen, Jake was getting stressed out that his uncle, aunt and cousins would not recognize him. However, advancing into the doorframe of the kitchen he was greeted not only by a wondrous smell, but when his family looked up at him, they did not even seem to notice anything had change.
“What took you so damn long?” Uncle Max demanded.
Taking a moment to think, Jake responded, “I was trying to find a clean shirt.”
This caused both his cousins to start laughing, and Luke asked, “What the hell for? You’ll only get it dirty.”
“Luke is right dear,” piped in Aunt Mary. “Don’t worry though, I’m going to do a few louds while you boy are out doing your chores. I’m sure something will be ready when you finish.”
Trying to not loose his mind from all the changes that had met him that morning, Jake sat down at the kitchen table where a plate overflowing with food was placed in front of him. “Dig in,” said Aunt Mary.
To Jake’s surprise he quickly followed his uncle and cousins in devouring all of the food under his nose. Jake had never been a big eater, having been only just over five feet, but his new massive form not only went back for second but thirds helpings as well.
With the meal finished, Jake was about to get up and offer to help with the cleaning, but before he could even open his mouth, Uncle Max was at the door calling for Jake to follow his cousins outside.
