Uncle Max farm had both cattle and some fields of grain. Not sure what to do, Jake followed his uncle over to the barn. Thankfully, Uncle Max took down a clipboard and began listing out the different chores that Jake and his cousins would have for the day. Fortunately for Jake, the chores that he was given were simple manual tasks.
During the day while his body worked harder then he had ever worked before, Jake allowed his mind to wander. Trying to figure out how his transformation could have come about, the only conclusion he could produce was from the trip to the barbershop. Looking at his body, he wondered why his Uncle Max would allow this to happen. But thinking about that, Jake knew that his uncle loved the extra free labor, and his dad, who was built like Jake’s new form, would also be very happy with this transformation.
Aunt Mary brought a sandwich out to Jake with a jug of water around lunch. When she brought the food out, Jake could not believe that the entire morning was over. Thanking her in his new baritone rumble, a sound that still surprised him, Jake noticed that he was not nearly as tired as he thought he would be. Yes, he was thirsty, but all Jake had to do was take a swig from the jug and he could get back to work. By the time dinner rolled around, Jake was not nearly as tired as he would have expected.
