Phil wandered around, but didn't know what to make of half the items in the store. They seemed like gag gifts: antiques with odd decorations, jewelry with strange names and instructions, and all sorts of other bric-a-brac. Finally, he ended up in the health and beauty aisle. Well, he figured, This stuff is regulated, so it can't be too weird.
However, looking at the labels he wasn't so sure: Hair Everywhere shampoo, Scales soap, Anybody lotion? He hadn't heard of any of these brands before. Nevertheless, Phil was getting desperate. Looking at his watch, he knew he need to meet Jane soon, and he probably wouldn't get a chance to visit another store. Just as he was about to give up, a small gift basket at the end of the aisle caught his eye. It had a few different bubble bath products, but the most prominent was entitled "Two Are Better Than One."
Thinking that was oddly appropriate for a marriage anniversary present, Phil grabbed the package and headed to the counter.
"Oh, a good choice," the proprietor chuckled. "It's going to be a lively evening at your house!"
"Uh, sure," Phil responded absently while fishing out his credit card from his wallet. Gift squared away, Phil happily headed out of the store.
"Oh, honey, thank you!" Jane smiled as Phil gave her the gift when they returned home after their movie. It wasn't a very exciting gift, but Phil congratulated himself on not getting something she would berate him about. "I'm going to try it right now!" Jane headed for the bedroom, and Phil could hear her opening the package and sorting through the different bottles. By the time Phil had finished battening down the house for the night, Jane was already in the bathroom, so Phil had no idea which bubble bath solution she had chosen. Not that he thought it mattered. Humming to himself, he readied the bed in anticipation of a very relaxed and loving Jane.
