After enjoying a new body and new appearance, Nate began to feel powerful and powerless at the same time--after all, he was now sharing his new body with two new brothers. However, Nate soon began to realize something: at first he was sharing his new arms and legs with Benedict and Arnold (Matthew decided to change his name after some reconsideration), but now Nate could not feel anything in his limbs.
Nate quickly realized what must be happening. In the mirror he saw that Benedict and Arnold were smiling--they were devilish smiles. Nate wanted to remove their heads before anything else happened, but it was too late. He had lost control of anything below his neck. Nate could do nothing but watch in shock as their arms reached up and grabbed his head. Without warning, Nate's head was off the shoulders and laid down on one of the shelves. Nate looked back and saw his new body standing in front of him; technically, it wasn't even Nate's anymore, as now only Benedict and Arnold's heads were on it. Both heads smiled with evil eyes at Nate.
"Two heads ARE better than one..." Arnold began.
"...but we think that three is a crowd." Benedict smiled.
The two-headed body turned and picked up the lifeless body from the bed--Nate's original body! They took the body apart, and--taking all the parts in hand--walked towards the door. Benedict turned his head around to look at Nate one last time.
"I hope you enjoy being part of your dad's collection," he smiled, "because WE hope that you'll be part of his permanent collection."
Arnold laughed as he and Arnold closed the glass door. Nate's head watched helplessly as the light from the basement disappeared behind the closing bookcase, leaving Nate alone and bodiless in the dark.
