Despite being only a head, Nate was able to roll off the shelf and land safely on the floor--when Benedict and Arnold had grabbed Nate's old body off the bed, they had knocked some pillows onto the floor below the shelf. After the soft landing, Nate hopped across the floor to the door; it was hard to get it open, but eventually he managed to open it just enough so that he could get through to push the bookcase open--fortunately, Benedict and Arnold didn't know about the book and forgot to lock the bookcase. Back inside the basement, Nate could see his body parts hidden behind a pile of boxes. He managed to pull his torso out of the pile, and across the floor to the bookcase. He managed to get his neck positioned inside the doorway, so that the thin mist in the room--which was probably the cause of the removable and attachable body parts--could touch it and his head. Sure enough, when Nate rolled his head into position at his neck, he was able to refuse with his torso and recover his limbs. Having regained his body, Nate turned on the light in the room to see if he was back to normal; aside from his head's wrestler makeup, he was. Nate then went back into the basement and quietly climbed the stairs, for he heard the TV still going in the living room, as well as two voices that sounded very familiar.
Sure enough, Benedict and Arnold were watching TV on the couch, still wearing their wrestling outfit and makeup. Neither head saw Nate, which allowed him to sneak back downstairs to the basement. There, he made some noise, and waited for a signal from upstairs. The faint voices and creaking floorboards provided that signal: Benedict and Arnold were coming to the door. Nate quickly slipped past the bookcase and hid in the room, just before Benedict and Arnold reached the basement door. As they walked down the stairs, Benedict noticed that the door to the room was open. The two-headed bros ran into the room, and turned on the light: Nate's head was not where they left it! Their body approached the shelf, neither bro noticing Nate hidden under the bed. When the two were directly across from the bed while facing the shelf, Nate sprang out from under the bed. He grabbed his own neck and pulled his head off, placing it back between Benedict and Arnold before his body became lifeless again.
What happened next is very hard to describe. While Benedict and Arnold were surprised and in shock by what just happened, Nate took this opportunity to utilize full control of the massive body. Being able to drive the body once again, he ran them back outside the room before Benedict and Arnold fully realized what had happened; when they did, they could no longer overpower Nate's control, especially when he placed their two large hands around the two necks, threatening to head back in the room and pull.
"WAIT!" they cried.
