In Princess' castle... thanks to some hacking on their spies' parts, they'd gotten a look at some hospital cameras (none of this seemed to work with 'tech' created by the baby furs though)... and what they saw and heard... Had them wearing party hats and blowing noise makers in each other's ears.
"YES YES YES YES YES YES!" Princess was cheering. This was the best possible outcome for her side she could have possibly imagined. She didn't even CARE anymore if the meme her loyal subjects had worked so hard on for her worked or not! This was so much better! "So so much better!"
And it was all thanks to the Baby Furs being naive, and the human's fear. Violence had been futile. And since the transformation was supposed to be originally oblivious to all involved, the baby furs had no clue to their grander purpose. And now this had played right into Princess', she meant the Imp's little cute claws!
"Okay, I admit, if this was ... well... ANYTHING ELSE... I'd be angry. I mean, I'd be kicking you guys out of the castle from the tallest spire angry! HAH AHA!" Princess giggled at the imagined sight, maybe she'd do it anyway later for fun. "This is... so PERFECT!!!
"The Baby Furs think that it all about just making friends, and maybe now having a new way to make friends that won't have humans scared of them. AND! The humans who don't think this is the Zombie Apocalypse believe this is about two different species, or two different peoples, or regular humans and those who'd just chosen a different life style learning how to get along! HA HA! None of these idiots have a CLUE what the truth is! None of them even KNOW that it's a more like a conflict between those inoculated and those NOT YET inoculated against a red plague knocking on their door! HA HA!"
The imps didn't mind the idea of being compared to a plague, that sounded cool.
The imp that in their former life had been Princess' best friend said, "Sort of like how during the Black Plague, people thought Jews were poisoning the water wells, because they weren't getting sick, and since none of them had even HEARD of Germs, the idea of Germs didn't even EXIST yet, they never thought to consider that maybe the Jews' clean living was why they weren't getting infect as much!"
"That's not an exact parallel I was going for, but works! HA HA! These naive little baby furs and humans THINK they've discovered the 'key to getting along' when all they've REALLY DONE is guaranteed that we'll have a lot less to worry about! HA HAHA HAH AHA HA!"
