The aggressive little canid snarled as the hens ran in fear towards a grove.
"Hey! Stay away from my easy food!" Colin said as he began shooting, only to realize he was out of ammo.
"Crap!" he said out loud as he looked for a weapon, immediately spotting an axe in a nearby stump.
With a mighty strain, Colin pulled it out and ran towards the voracious little hunter with furious might.
"Get back here, you little Varmit!" He hollered, swing the axe like a lunatic.
The crafty little creature lead the fat gamer to a dead end, turning and snarling.
"I've got you now!" Colin said with the axe raised.
As if on que, four other coyotes rushed him and began biting up his legs and arms. He bit his axe arm free and chopped through one coyote's neck, and then another's. As he was about to swing at the third, the coyote he bit ran for his neck and chomped down, inducing a huge gush of blood and a gurggling until the fat guy finally died.
The coyotes then began feasting on Colin's corpse, which was far more satisfying than the chickens they had been after.
