CYOTF (Animal)

As the drama starts to die down (Moon Lake of Earth 2)

added by Franknfurter69 6 years ago A

“There is nothing physically wrong,” the paramedic examining Nate; “nothing that time won’t heal. Still its best that you get checked out by the on-call call doctor,” the paramedic finishing.
“Your going,” Jean giving Nate a withering stare; “no arguing.”
“As long as I’m not spending the night,” Nate whining; sitting on the gurney as the paramedic takes his blood pressure and other vitals. “It’s not as if I couldn’t have fought back,” Nate growling; “those were-panthers would have gotten their asses kicked.”

“If it makes you feel better,” Jean says to herself; watching the paramedic shut the door to the ambulance before driving off. The were-lioness turning around to see the Anderson’s looking at her oddly. Both William and Martha unsuccessful in getting Nate to get checked out by the paramedic; yet Jean just gave the young werewolf a stern look implying that she would not brook a no answer from him.
“I guess it’s because we had a were-wedding recently,” Jean looking at the two were-foxes; “a husband will always listen to his wife.”
“On that we agree,” Martha chiming in; “yet I’m Nate’s mother, I should be the one getting him to get checked up.”
“It doesn’t matter now,” William shaking his head; “we better get Jean inside. She is still in her fursona and a were-alert is still in effect.”

“So a deputy drove you home,” Evan watching his daughter wolf down the sandwich he made earlier; listening to her story of Nate getting attacked and using her truck as a battering ram to stop the assailants from getting away.
“Yeah,” Spencer answering after finishing off both sandwiches; “I tried to stay with Eric, but the deputy felt it was best to get me home. It being a school night,” Spencer rolling her eyes; “was the excuse he gave.”
“Well it is true,” Evan getting up to make more sandwiches; “you do need to get ready and you can’t exactly stay up until well past midnight like you were getting away with during the summer break.”
“At least we were inside,” Spencer grinning at the thought of being with Eric and Frieda in a state of carnal bliss; “most of the time.”
“You just have to wait to have those moments during the weekend,” Evan responding; “school work and non-sexual activities are to come first.”
“I know,” Spencer grumbling; “but that doesn’t mean I can’t skype with Eric and Frieda.”
“Don’t be loud,” Evan watching Spencer leave the kitchen; “we just put your baby brother down and don’t want him to wake up.”

Evan growls slightly as Spencer disappears from view. Thinking how to deal with the extra expense of getting Spencer’s truck fixed; the black furred werewolf goes back to making more sandwiches for him and Maggie still resting upstairs.

“A deputy took Spencer home,” Eric sitting at the kitchen table; looking at his parents who were still in their human forms and Jean Talbot who was still in her were-lioness fursona.
“You hungry,” Martha trying her best to deal with the situation; “you father did up some BBQ chicken.”
“More like blackened chicken,” William sighing; “with what happened out front, I let the chicken get burned. Even I’m finding it unpalatable, what with my enhanced were-senses.”
“It’s natural,” Jean responding; “over cooked meat is always a turn off for most predatory weres. Our animal half tends to blanch at it more than a normal person would.”
“I’ll get some sandwiches going then,” Martha getting up; “Eric please go downstairs and bring up some sodas.”
“All that is left is the grape and cream soda ones,” Eric heading to the basement; “don’t ask what happened to the rest.”

“I can think one reason,” William shaking his head; watching Eric dash down to the rec room. A faint smell of the wild rutting that took place last night could still be detected as Eric left the door open. Martha chuckling quietly as she too knows what took place last night. Her own fun with William, along with Samantha, Frances and there friend over at the Twist’s was enjoyable for them.
“I hope my parents get here soon,” Jean sighing; “they have a change of clothes for me.”
“Why not leave a spare set here,” Martha looking at the were-lioness; “Like Spencer and Frieda do?”
“I did,” Jean answering; “those were the clothes I was wearing when I saw Nate getting attacked.”
“Oh,” William answering; “perhaps you should call them again.”
“If it’s one thing you don’t do,” Jean replying; “is badger the were-lion king incessantly. Unless of course you want your head bitten off.”

Meanwhile, both Leon and Regina Talbot were pulling up behind Jean’s Shelby Cobra; watching a flatbed tow truck lifting a brown Ford Bronco off of a destroyed sedan, the two were-lions step out of their car as they watch the tow truck drive off.
“Was that the perpetrators vehicle,” Leon roaring at a nearby deputy.
“Move on citizen,” the deputy responding; “the matter is well in hand.”
“Boy,” Leon barely containing his rage; “I want to know if that was the vehicle driven by the asshats that attacked my daughter’s husband!”

The deputy turned around, the bluster and vigor in him quickly ebbing away as he recognized Leon Talbot glaring at him. Knowing this was the man that helped the Sheriff and his deputies repel Franklin Parker’s assault on the police station earlier in the day. It was Leon using a grenade launcher converted into firing tear gas rounds that ensured the only deaths were on the side of the criminals.
“Oh god,” the deputy looking fearful; “the crazy were-lioness is your daughter.”
“Crazy,” Leon glaring at the deputy; “I suggest you re-describe Jean before I rearrange your face.”
“Leon,” Regina speaking up; “don’t even think about it. Deputy,” Regina speaking up; “please forgive my husband. He gets quite territorial when his family is being threatened.”

The deputy gulps as hurriedly explains to the Talbots what transpired moments ago. The attack on Nate Anderson, Jean Talbot stalking the were-panther’s even after they practically ran to the police in a vain attempt to be rescued from her. Describing that the Ford Bronco belonging to Spencer Lawson was used to stop the were-panther from getting away in their sedan.
“Please tell the tow truck driver,” Regina maintaining composure; “to deliver the bronco to Talbot Restoration. After you have conducted your investigation of course,” Regina practically dragging Leon away from wanting to throttle the deputy.
“I’ll inform the sheriff,” the deputy answering nervously.

“Regina,” Leon growling.
“You need to calm down,” Regina snapping at Leon; “now let’s make sure Jean is alright. I have met Nate’s parents,” Regina approaching the front door of the Anderson household; “you however have yet to meet them. Mind your manners, and be respectful” Regina stating as she press the door bell button; "I explain to you about the Bronco after we are done here alright?"
