Colin paused, sighed, and said, "Alright, but let's make this quick."
Amy wrapped her arms around the old woman's shoulders and started pulling.
Colin went into the nearby garage using the woman's keys. He dug through old mementos, souvenirs easily worth hundreds of dollars (which he uncautiously tossed aside like nothing), and old books unil he dug out a shovel, nails, a hammer, and two wooden planks.
He began digging a burial hole while Amy went in the house looking for information on the old woman. The chunk gamer tossed aside pile of dirt after pile of dirt, as it seemed hours went by, until the pit he dug was deep enough. He crawled out and grabbed the womans' corpse, lowering it into the hole face up, feet first. Then he shoveled the dirt onto the corpse and patted it down. He nailed the planks together to make a cross, and slammed it into the ground behind the grave.
He began walking away until Amy stopped him and they both paid their respects. He walked off to take a shower when he and Amy were shot in the back of the head in two bloody bursts as two thieves looted the truck and the house. These thieves got into position while Colin buried the old lady. Now they drove off in the Jeep looking to plunder more goods.
"Survival of the fittest, Jimbo." one of the bandits said, "There isn't any time for human decency, as those two just learned."
"Guess so, boss." Jimbo said.
