The sun arose as Lynn walked up to Colin. She showed him a positive pregnancy test, which made the gamer grin.
"We did it, babe." Lynn said.
"Yeah, we did." Colin replied with a kiss.
He and Lynn had become an item over the couple of weeks leading up to this. Lynn went on patrol with him in full body armor (an arangement made with Jack until Lynn's pregnant belly got too big for the armor). They kissed, held hands, ate together, all that good stuff.
The couple walked out , Lynn's arm around Colin's stomach.
"Hey there pally!" Larry said, the red head grinning to one of his new close friends.
"How'd the test comeback?" Larry's partner Strawberry asked.
"Well.... I'M PREGNANT!" Lynn cheered.
"Congratulations! What's their name gonna be?" Larry asked.
"Lynn got it going, so Lynn can name it." Colin said.
"Well, I wanna call them Lynn Jr." Lynn said. "Afterall Lynn can be a boy's name AND a girl's name."
"That's a fine idea." Jack said from behind. "Heard the whole thing."
The Colin and Lynn from before Lynn Jr.'s conception would've called him a creep, but now they just laughed it off. They were one of the few couples who stood by the old folks.
A sarcastic laugh broke it as they turned to the least supportive lady in the house: Lindsey. The tough dark haired girl was bitter towards the old folks for one reason or another.
"Enjoy your little bundle of "joy" " she sneered as she slammed the door. A frail brown haired guy looked out at the group.
"Sorry about that." Chester said, being yanked back in the room by his partner. Poor Chester was basically a slave to Lindsey, she carried a kid and hated every second.
Something told Colin she'd be a problem later on.....
A few months later, it was time for Lynn's ultrasound to determine the gender of the baby. Colin held his lover's shaking hand as the tool drug cold gel across her noticeable baby bump.
Jack came back after a few moments with the news, "Well, looks like Lynn Jr.'s...."
