The sun was just peeking over the clouds early one gloomy October morning. Against the muted orange light that streaked across the football field, the dark figure making her way towards the doors to the gym of the school was barely noticeable.
Claudia had had enough. She had seen most of the football players bully, brutalize, and overall just misuse most of the non-sports population of the school...which included Claudia herself and most of her friends. Everything came to a head the day previously, when her and her friends had stopped by a party being thrown by a group of students. The party had been going on for a few hours when the jocks started showing up, uninvited, in large droves. When they discovered the party held no beer, they went on a rampage, destroying most of everything in the house and punching the lights out of almost everyone there. Claudia had managed to escape out the back door just in time as they pulled up and could only watch in horror as the events inside unfolded. As soon as they had arrived, they left, cheering and high-five each other repeatedly.
Little did the players know, Claudia had a few tricks up her sleeve. By pulling a few strings with some very important people she knew, she had procured and devised a way with which to best extract he revenge on the unruly team.
She checked her watch was she pulled open the door to the gym. 6:15 AM. The first players would arrive for early morning practice at 6:45. That would give her just enough time to do what she wanted.
She walked across the gym, footsteps echoing about the massive space, towards the door to the locker room. She perked inside. Two long rows of lockers (most unlocked), with benches in between each. Showers. A bathroom stall, sink, and urinal. An overall smell of sweat and testosterone.
She smiled. It was perfect. Looking both ways beforehand, she slipped silently as a cat into the room, shutting the door behind her.
Fifteen minutes later, at 6:40, , Claudia left the gym, a spring in her step, towards the front door of the school. She hoped the first boy to arrive liked the surprise she had left not only for him, but for the rest of the team.
Five minutes later, Ryan, one of the smaller jocks, arrived in the gym and began to make his way towards the locker room. He hoped him and his friends wouldn't be caught or even arrested for the little stunt they had pulled the night previously. He reached for the door to the locker room and pulled it open, not knowing he had already fallen into Claudia's trap.
