You choose the size 13 blue slippers, they look a bit dusty but clean enough to fit your foot in. You grab the magic socks and put them on your feet. "Hey I'm going to change in that bathroom" You say pointing to the bathroom in the basement. You lock the door behind you as you began to take off your/Adam's clothes. You don't want to break it when you transform. Finally you put your feet inside the shoes.
After a minute you began growing impatient but a small ripple coursing throughout your body quickly changes your mind. A thick coating of hair quickly grows over your body, leaving a nice evening spread on your chest. You notice the hair appears to be a dark shade of brown, not your normal hair color. Your feel funny as a beard grows connecting your sideburns and newly grown mustache. Suddenly hair begins to instead recede on your head leaving you nearly bald with a receded hairline.
You look like a skinny short old man in the mirror but not for long as you began to feel your frame expand. Your arms began to gain weight as your stomach begins to bloat. Soon enough two fat pectorals and one giant belly are added onto your body. You feel yourself stretching and growing as your body gains more weight. You're eventually a bit over 6ft before the changes completely stop. Your eyes turn to brown as you finally recognize you new body.
It seems that a few specks of gray have made themselves into your hair as you began to examine your body. Knocking interrupts you as you hear Brian pounding on the door to let you in. You look around for anything to cover your new body. You grab a red towel and tie it against your waist. You open the door as Brian has a look at you before saying "Uncle Red?"
It's seems that the shoes belonged to Adam's Uncle, you ask Brian for any new clothes in a very deep tone. He says to check his Dad's dresser as he began to attempt taking off the magic socks from you feet. You quickly take them them off before tossing them to him. He thanks you as you walk upstairs and make your way to Adam's parents bedroom. You notice a wood cabin near the bed where you find some yoga pants and a shirt along with some XL briefs. Surprisingly they fit you perfectly, minus the underwear, which seems to be hugging your waist a bit too much. You go back downstairs and open the basemental door quietly before jogging down the steps.
That's when you see Adam, instead of Brian standing where you last left him was now a kid who was barely 5 years old. He had wavy blonde hair and tan skin. "Adam, is that you?" You ask restricting laughter. "Shit! He says I accidentally put on my nephew's shoes." He looks pretty mad but in his current state it looks a bit funny. "Wanna go watch a movie?" You ask him as he looks up at you. "Like this?!?!" "Well it could be pretty fun pretending to be someone else you respond And besides we both did your plan already." He thinks before asking "Well where am I supposed to get some clothes...
You're both in Adam's younger brother's room as Adam puts on some of his wardrobe. "It may be a little big" You say looking down at him as he struggles to fit the loose clothes on himself. "I can't believe that I'm actually smaller than my younger brother" He says with a sad look. You shrug it off as you help him fit into the clothes as best as you can. Before you know it the both of you began walking to the Movie Theatre around the block. It takes a while to buy some tickets, considering Adam's new age but you both eventually end in an action movie.
After the movie ends you both go back to Adam's house where you began to decide what to do next. Suddenly the house phone rings, letting it go you hear a message instead "Hey Adam, we're coming home a bit early since we just received a call from your brother Dan who's apparently coming home for a visit." You look at Adam as the message ends.
It takes about 40 minutes to turn back into your original bodies and to clean up the little mess the both of you made. You grab the magic socks into an old gymbag you found in the basement along with a couple of shoes as well (Hey, what Adam doesn't know won't hurt him.) You wave goodbye as you make your way home. Your parents seem distracted and your younger brother seems to be asleep already while your older brother is already passed out on the couch. With school ending next week and summer about to begin it seems that your older brother returned home early from college.
You rush upstairs and put the gymbag into anew old shoebox under your bed. You couldn't wait until next weekend...
