Christina woke up naked and seemingly alone in a basic looking bedroom she didn't recognise. So many questions filled her head - where was she? How did she get there? What time was it and was she already late for work? Of most immediate concern was the small matter of what had happened to her clothes and what she was supposed to wear. There was nothing for her nearby and a quick peek from behind the curtains confirmed plenty of life passing in the city outside. How was she supposed to get out of here without causing a scene?
Such thoughts were soon interrupted by an agitated croaking sound emanating from behind her. Christina turned round to see a small frog sitting at the end of the bed.
"Oh, how did you get there?" she asked out loud. She picked the amphibian up and cradled it gently in her hands, gazing into it's somehow forlorn looking eyes "Don't worry, once I find something to wear I'll find you somewhere better to live. I know a nice pond near here"
To Elle the idea of being left in a muddy pond wasn't a tempting one. It was a frustrating situation for her, she still possessed all her magic powers but without the ability to speak or hold the wand resting a few feet away that Christina had so far neglected to notice most of her spells were currently redundant. However, as she gazed into Christina's eyes she was able to employ at least one of her old tricks.
"Perhaps I should kiss you?" Christina announced suddenly, unsure where that suggestion had come from. As she did so, sparks flew between herself and the frog as Elle's magic began to work. The formerly human witch just wished she could control it better in her current predicament.
