He felt the wind against his skin as it blew his hair astray. Louis could see the rotors to a helicopter and saw as he went into view a helicopter appear. It was a small helicopter compared to Italy. Louis laughed slightly as he saw who was smiling at him through the window. He broke a happy smile as well as he saw his friend Susan looking at him. The chains connected again as Louis in excitement ran up to the helicopter and climbed in.
The interior was complete leather design, there were ropes and climbing equipment in the back. As well as this, this shocked Louis, some shotguns and revolvers. Why would they need weapons. Louis now influenced by the sight of guns sat down next to Susan and awkwardly smiled at her. He grapped the helicopter gear which the pilot was showing him. The sound got muffled and he could hear the engines get quieter. The helicopter pushed of ground and he turned to Susan. "So what's the beef and where the hell have you been".
"Oh come on I haven't been that long" Said Susan, avoiding his first question. "You've been 8 weeks Susan" Louis said as he shuffled in his seat.
"You haven't been honest with me Susan, why did you tell me to bring this thing and why have you got guns". Louis said filling Susan with questions, she brushed her golden hair of her forehead. "Found something" Susan said as if she was teasing Louis. Susan definitely had the way with words. She branched the truth off her trunk as she avoids the fire.
"We got guns to keep the government off our back" Louis looked at her mockingly. "Look they weren't exactly happy with us going to were we are going now, so I brought guns to make them happy". Louis shrugged and guessed she was telling the truth.
"Now back to what I was asking, What do you need this artefact for" said Louis pointing at the briefcase. Susan sighed and pulled out a map from her jacket. It was a map of a province in Jamaica. "Some of my fellow archaeologists in Jamaica have discovered this...." She held her hands in front of her "Monument or ancient settlement we aren't sure", she points to grey pixels on the map.
"It definitely looks like a settlement, good jungle cover and settlement shows sedimentary rock surrounding the area". Louis says as he points to places on the map. Now I said before Louis was an archaeologist and well that may sound kind off boring but to Louis he had an ordinary adventurous lifestyle. He was good and I mean good at what he does. With two sharp sticks and a map he could identify a settlement when he saw one. "It looks like a water filtration system by the east river here" he points to the larger of two rivers on the map.
Susan exclaims "We've already sent some people to scout out the temple, so far we have a couple of images". She draws out her phone and shows Louis the images.
