Douglas says, "Well you will have some privacy tomorrow. I want to test something so I won't be putting you in the window tomorrow."
Quinn asks, "What do you want to test?"
Douglas says, "The description of the curse is a riddle. Like why are you featureless but still have a dick and what does decent mean? I'm going to put you in a closet where no one will see you tomorrow and leave you naked."
Quinn says, "Please don't."
Douglass says, "You won't be able to move so I can do what I want with you."
Quinn says, "But you're my brother."
Douglass says, "You haven't been much of a brother to me. I almost like this curse of yours. It might just teach you to be less of a jerk. Why did you come to me instead of one of your jerk friends?"
Quinn says, "They'd laugh and me and not take me in."
Douglas says, "See, you don't have any good friends because you are such a jerk."
Quinn says, "You're at least as much of a jerk as I am. If the curse was on you, would your friends take you in?"
Douglas didn't answer. He was too busy to have friends. "I'm also going to check out that woman that cursed you tomorrow. What was her name again?"
"Fay Morgan."
Douglas says, "You said she works at a mannequin warehouse."
"I think so. I didn't ask but their were different kinds of mannequins in her apartment."
Douglas says, "I'll find out and learn more about this curse."
Douglas owns a Harley and after closing up, he gives Quinn a ride home. Quinn doen't own much and what he does own is mostly in storage while he sorts through it and figures out what to do now that he is cursed. Douglas has a nice home. It used to be more luxurious but as his store lost money, he had to sell some things. He is looking at moving to a smaller place but hasn't decided to move yet.
The next day, Quinn asks, "Can I at least have a radio or t.v. so I don't get bored?"
"Sorry, no outlets in the closet."
At nine, Quinn can't help but pose like a mannequin. His head becomes featureless. His hands still have fingers but they are fused together and featureless. His toes are also fused and featureless. The part of him that remains anatomically correct starts at the neck, elbows and knees. Even his body hair is represented by artistically placed grooves. He's not 100% anatomically correct but he's correct enough to be lewd if exposed.
Douglas strips Quinn and puts him in the closet. He locks the closet so no one would get in (and so Quinn wouldn't get out). Douglas does this first because he knows that he's been scatterbrained and forgetful lately and might forget to do this later.
Douglas hears of a complaint about the lewd display yesterday. It was a father with two daughters. The matter was not settled but the police said, "Don't do it again. We don't want to waste time on this matter. It's just a mannequin."
At five, all the customers are gone. Douglas has few employees since his store is losing money. This is the reason he is only open nine to five, not enough employees to stay open longer. Quinn starts knocking to be let out. Hank asks, "What is that?"
Douglas says, "Don't worry about it. It's just Quinn. I'll let him out later."
Hank finishes up and leaves. Douglas and Quinn are the only ones in the store but Douglas let's Quinn wait longer. Quinn searches for clothes but can't find any. He just keeps pounding away until he's too tired to pound. Quinn sits on the floor.
Several hours later, Douglas opens the closet door to find a black plastic mannequin asleep and snoring. "That confirms it. He stays a mannequin if he stays naked."
Douglas carries Quinn to his motorcycle. He ties Quinn in place to keep him from falling off. He doesn't like the idea of riding with a naked mannequin on his motorcycle but he has to get Quinn home. Besides, the business will be covered during the ride. The curse doesn't require Quinn's business to be seen. It only requires that he not be decently dressed.
Douglas gets home and lays Quinn in bed. The next morning, Quinn wakes up still a mannequin. Douglas also realizes that while a mannequin, Quinn doesn't need to eat, breathe or pee.
