Of course, he still has time to go check in on Quinn and see how he is doing. So he then bikes his way home to check in and see how he is doing. Once he got to the front of his house, almost sunset, he hears rapid tunes of hollow pop like sounds of tapping inside. Curious of what is going on, he enters the house like normal and walks to the source of the popping sounds which leads to Quinn's room. He then knocks on the door, but he didn't answer and opens the door and sees Quinn tapping his plastic body playfully as his body makes music. Douglas didn't see him turn around but he is recording him tapping his body from head to feet until Quinn turned around and abruptly stopped. He then played one last tap to his left foot as Douglas tries to hold his laugh. <Uh... It's not what it looks like...> He wishes to say to him, but he didn't put on his clothes on to fully turn back as he inwardly blushes. "No no, it's cool. I think that's awesome!" he assures his mannequin brother and wishes him to continue.
He then hesitates but does so anyways as he continues to make random tapping to his body again as Douglas enjoys his random rhythm and sits on his bed just watching him have fun. Quinn was enjoying this for too long and remembered how much him and Quinn wanted to play instruments during their high school years. Douglas then tries to help join in the rhythm tapping his finger on the bed frame side and lightly nod his head enjoying this random rhythm that his brother is making. Quinn too can feel his brother's love for music. They don't know why they didn't continue on playing music together. Ah, it was because of their parents, whom passed away. While Douglas tries to sustain his parent's store, Quinn decides to become a street musician in hopes of helping too sustain their store and other bills. Until he wandered into that
cursed featureless mannequin warehouse. But now, he doesn't feel like it is more like a curse now. It is a blessing now. He wishes he has his voice so he can add humming to his tapping. Maybe there is something that can restore his voice, it doesn't have to make him talk again, just, again, to hum in tune with his new instrument. His mannequin body.
This continued on for about a good ten twenty minutes as Douglas laid on his bed happy of doing this with his brother. Quinn looks at him, so happy and free. He remembers the time playing music as their parents listen to them at a young age. He wishes that he wants to go back in time to revisit those years. But that is impossible now. To Douglas, it felt like a relive those days and wanted to play this kind of music with his brother time to time. Maybe after work, they can do this again. "That was so much fun wasn't it, Quinn?" he asks after a sigh and looks at Quinn as he nods. "It felt amazing to play music again. Words can't explain how you and I felt the first time we did this long ago."
<Yeah...> he thinks to himself as their minds wander in their past time.
"Ah... I just remembered my promise to you. I'm heading to the warehouse now. I'll be back as soon as I can." Douglas said. Quinn nods as he went out of the house and locks the door, on his way to the warehouse to find some sort of instructions or something to help understand Quinn's curse. Quinn then goes back to his room and goes back to tapping his plastic body again one last time before he reverts back to human fully again.
