Being a comic book fan, Janet was familiar with the fact that Superman and Supergirl were powered by the sun. Occasionally, they would take a brief dip into our newest star to supercharge their powers if they needed to. After pushing an asteroid that, bare minimum, must weigh in the octillions of pounds, Janet felt almost invincible, like she was really a goddess. She didn't really need to supercharge anything at this point, lest she seem like she was greedy or looking a gift horse in the mouth. However, her natural human curiosity got the best of her, and Janet wanted to see how much further she could push her new body. She felt nervous as she flew away from the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, her powerful new leg muscles powering her on.
The transformed teenage girl passed by Ceres the dwarf planet, giving it a quick wave in a way you might wave to a friend as you pass by in a speeding car. To herself, she briefly mouthed "Wow" once again, her mind still barely capable of conceiving the gravity of what she was doing. She didn't even notice the other minor planets such as 4-Vesta, 2-Pallas, or 10-Hygiea as she flew by them at FTL speed, her body posed in Superman's traditional heroic pose.
The former girl, now woman, turned around to face Sol. From her vantage point, Sol was enormous. Over a million Earth's could "fit inside" it. It was so bright, so, so bright, that even Janet's new eyes, which were impervious to blindness, still felt the urge to look away. But she couldn't. She NEEDED to see what would happen. Taking a large breath, she said "OK, Janet, you can do this" to motivate herself.
Closing her eyes in fear, Janet flew into the Sun...
Closer..Closer...Closer...
...
Janet approached the surface and flew inside...
...
When she flew out, she exploded from our star with the momentum of a rocket, flying so far and so fast in her childish enthusiasm, her already outrageously fast travel speed increased a thousand fold, that when Janet had finally settled down from the excitement her excitement at her supercharged sun-dipped body, she realized that she was now completely lost.
"Where am I?" asked Janet.
Janet had flown an absurdly vast distance into a star system dozens of light years from Earth, with a small collection of planets orbiting a foreign sun of similar size, shape, and age to that of Sol. The planets there were completely foreign to not only Janet, but astronomers in general.
