Of the remaining conjoined groups, only the two youngest boys wanted to separate: these two were twin brothers that had wandered away from their parents a year ago and had accidentally gone through the teleporter experiment, and they looked forward to going home to their families at long last. So, after a trip through the machine and a round of goodbyes, that left thirty groups of conjoined siblings. Some of them had developed bonds with the friends they were NOT conjoined with; they wondered what it would be like to strengthen those bonds with the fusion machines (HINT HINT).
Due to being boyfriends(s)/girlfriend(s), neither Nina and Randa nor Aaron and Austin decided to merge with anyone else, not even each other--that would be weird. Lucas and Marcus, however, wanted to join with Emilio and Ivan--the pairs were a bit competitive when they both arrived at the Institute, but decided that becoming conjoined quadruplets would put their competitions and rivalries to rest. After entering the four's desired configuration into one of the machines, the two pairs walked in and let the transformation begin. When the guys emerged, they had a body that was six feet wide, two arms, two legs, and their four heads across their shoulders--Emilio and Ivan on their left, Lucas and Marcus on their right. Their black shirt and gray shirt had become a four-headed dark gray shirt, and their black pants were now large enough for their new legs and waist. Reed and Devin decided to do the same with themselves and Sam and Colby; one trip through a machine later, they were four heads on one body as well! The same modifications were carried out for Brandon and Isaac to fuse with Brendon and John. Next, Ryan and Brian were joined with Andy and Benjy--Andy and Benjy's Angry Birds sweatshirt was stretched out to fit the four of them, as was Ryan and Brian's Nike shirt underneath the sweatshirt. Larry and Dave were fused to Joshua and Gavin, while the two oldest pairs fused to each other. Vito and his brother became fused with Troy and Chase, Kyle and Ben with Luc and Cooper, Justin and Andrew with James and Johnny, and Ethan and Grayson with Ricky and Kian. Matt and Rex then used the machine to fuse with Jeff and John, since the friends had decided to strengthen their own bonds as well. That left Jake-Zack-Jake, McKenzie-Sierra-Dakota, and Tim-David-Josh with three heads each; the four-headed boy and four-headed girl remained as they were as well--all five of these groups each felt that they had enough heads already. Leo, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey felt the same--despite the bonds that they had with the others, their four heads felt that it would be better if they all remained with just their own four heads, just the four brothers.
