“ Please stop… ” you moan out, it's index claw tracing up & down your long sensitive flesh. " I was once a weak human like you ,but wondering in to this forest was the greatest thing that can happen to a young gay man like me....&....like yourself. " The fox man groaned. " I told you I'm not gay! Let me go you furry freak! " You scream bucking him in an desperate but futile effort to get this smelly beast off your back. " You can't get me off of you ,were joined by my knot. Maybe now you will let me finish my story. Years ago I was hated misunderstood in my home town ,a young gay man who was beat-up & cursed at in public for being what I was. After years of fear for my safety I fled out in to these woods. I hadn't the slightest clue where I was going to go what I would do ,but I could no longer stay in that town, to them I was a freak. Sadly their would be no changing their minds ,Lost & alone I sat on a nearby tree stump to weep. It was then I heard a noise ,I spun around to look but no one was there except for a rather large looking fox. I looked at the fox & the fox stared back ,the silence lasted a minute or so before the fox walked up to my left leg & lifting it's leg urinated on it.

     " What are you doing you stupid animal! " I shouted shooing him away ,It then gave me an unexpected answer. " Well you don't have to be so rude ,typical human behavior....I can change that. " It replied. My jaw almost hit the dirt I couldn't belive my ears ,a talking fox....& it just insulted me? After a couple minutes of watching the fox groom himself I finally had enough courage to speak. " Who are you ,how can you talk like that? " I ask. " I am a werefox ,half man half fox ,simple really. " It said. " No not really ,creatures like that are a product of fantasy. Weres don't exist ,you can't be talking to me. " I stammered out. The fox began licking it's left forepaw contently before speaking. " Ha! Still don't belive what you can't understand... don't worry... I'll wait. " It said in between licks. " What do you wont from me? " I asked ,shock giving way to anger. " Me? I wont nothing ,but you look like you could use a little something. I smell anger & great sadness ,why don't you tell me what's troubling you. " What the hell ,why not? Nobody else will listen to me. I'm an outcast ,I'm gay & nobody will accept me for who I am. I left with nothing but the clothes on my back to try & start a new life ,somewhere I can freely be who I am. " I confessed.

     " It seems fate is on your side ,you could.... " He paused. It was only then I realized what he meant. " What ,have you bite me & change me in to a werefox too! " I said in a fit of sarcasm. " Not quite ,bits are effective but there are other ways. " The fox grinned. Curious as to what he might be getting at I asked him to continue. " Their are many ways my condition can be passed on to another ,being bitten ,scratched ,licking an open wound or...sex. " The fox replied grinning a toothy grin only a fox could make. " You... your...gay? " I asked inquisitively. " I am ,I have lived alone for years & wouldn't mind some company. " The fox said. " Live in the forest ,here? " I asked. " Well I own this land it's been in my family for hundrds of years ,ever since the 17th century. It's a huge plot of forest surrounding a gigantic castle ,with more than enough space for both of us. " The creature said. Just then I witnessed an incredible site ,before my very eyes he was changing. The fox began to take on more human proportions ,yet he stayed much more fox than man. The fox slowly rose from four feet to two, then it was done ,the fox slowly reached out his clawed furry paw like hand to mine.

     " Will you join me ,friend. " He asked smiling wistfully at me. I looked down at his paw & considered his offer ,was this my fate ,to lose my humanity forever? Yes I would finally be free ,to be who I always was without worry. I took his paw in to my hand & anserd. " Yes ,this is my path ,my destiny. " The two of us walked out of the forest in to a clearing where the castle was ,it was huge ,but it was now my new home for the rest of my life. " Thus how I came to be here in this forest castle. " “ Wait ,if your alone what happened to your mate? ”  You say. " Hunters ,he was in full form & hunting for pray when a trespasser invaded my land & shot him. I have been alone ever since. " The fox replied. " Now I offer you the same gift as he gave me ,just take it ,don't fight it embrace it. " He said.
