The next day cassia awoke to the smell of beer and piss as she found herself on the floor of the bar. Once she realized this she got up and looked for the stranger she met last night, but she couldn't find him so she checked outside the bar and was startled by a sudden booming voice "sleep well?" The man, whom she recognized as the stranger from last night said. "Uh...I?" Cassia didn't really know how to answer that question "slept on better I'm sure" he said, that statement felt odd to her, of course she'd slept in between at the castle in Kasergrov but he knew of no such things. She ignored his comment and the two went into a nearby forest.
"Uh-why are we here?" She asked trying to disguise her girlish voice "I didn't want anyone around to see it" he said ominously "what do you mea-" she started to speak but suddenly all the trees' leaves blew twards her and she rose a couple of feet off the ground with the dirt beneath her spiraling around her.
And as suddenly as it happened, it ended.
Cassia felt like herself, her 18year old self that is. She yelled when she discovered her body had returned to normal...then she realized she was also naked, she looked at the man "I-uh-uh..." she couldn't find words to describe to him what was happening.
"Here" he said and threw her some clothes "thought you might need this" he turned around as she quickly changed into the clothes she'd been given: a light blue dress with long white sleeves with a simple brown, leather corset which the man helped tie to her waist, on their feet were plain brown leather boots (she also had undergarments befitting a woman in their era). Finally she adjusted her light brown hair, which had grown back to its natural long length.
"Thank you mister but how did you..." she trailed off as he turned back around "I smelled it" he simply explained much to cassia's confisuon.
"Now let's get properly acquainted now you're Princess Cassia of Kasergrov" he stated to her surprise "I'm Gonor, let's get moving" he said as they started to walk back towards the city, as they did Gonor explained that he knew of her and her plight, and that he would help her. Together they would go to the resistance that she was looking for.
She explained what had happened: the lake, the strength and it seemed as if he already knew.
They both continued forward, to find the resistance and get help for her suffering people back home.
