The next day Juliet awoke from a dreamless sleep and realized that all that running the other day caused her to fall unconscious on her bed the minute she got home. She got up from her bed and didn't even bother to change her clothes as she left her house. As she walked a ways down the street she looked to her right and there was the circus. She remembered how much everyone said they had a great time and stuff, that's what first brought her to the place. Juliet steeled herself, "I won't let some lame creep get the better of me, I'm way tougher that that" she spoke in her mind as if to convince herself. Finally she resigned to return to the stupid circus.
Then out of nowhere the girl was jumped by a familiar face, her friend Kayla; she was Juliet's age with long strawberry blonde hair tied in a ponytail, light skin and greenish-brown eyes. She wore a rose colored shirt that was buttoned up all the way with a necklace that had a pearl colored pendant underneath the shirt's collar.
Khaki capris and light pink flats adorned her legs.
Kayla was the perky foil to Juliet's outwardly indifferent attitude. "So I saw you run out from the circus, did something scare you?" She said smugly, knowing her friend never shows fear and would never admit to it either, "no...I remembered I had do something really important" she replied "oh? And what was SO important I might ask?" Kayla said back, "washing my hair" she said "washing your hair? That's what was so important?" She retorted skeptically. "Yes, washing my hair is VERY important" the dark haired girl stated and tried to keep a straight face but lost it and soon the two girls were giggling to each other as they walked past the enormous circus tent.
After the two girls regained their composure Kayla intervened by saing "in that case since your hair is nice and clean..." the blonde ruffled her friends dark mane as she said this "...you and me can go to the circus tonight" this made Juliet a little nervous but pushed those feeling aside "alright"she said trying to sound casual. But couldn't escape the eerie feeling deep down.
