Nobody would have dreamed that in the early years of the 21st Century that the human race would undergo such a profound change as was inflicted by the outbreak of the Clowngirl Pathogen. Its origins are unclear, as were its exact mechanisms of its nature be it bacterial, viral, nano-technological or some other vector. Its spread is better documented. Numerous outbreaks happened in all the world’s major urban centers over the span of 24 hours and quickly spread from there, being transmitted by touch, exchange of fluids and by various mediums which could deliver from contaminated cosmetics to clown noses. Depending on the circumstances infection could take a couple of days to a matter of minutes. As a general rule female transformations were quicker, repeated contact (especially sexual intercourse) with other infected and those who were fully converted and the application of a Clown Nose would accelerate the process. Though what was clear was the fact that it had a 100% infection rate and its results were always clear: anyone infected (male or female) would transform into a Clowngirl.
An all-female race, Clowngirls have rubbery skin, enlarged feet, glossy multicolored hair (limited to the head and pubic region which could naturally form itself into styles over the course of a night), enlarged lips and eyes, marking that could only be considered clownish and prominent spherical noses that will honk if squeezed. More privately clown girls also had large clown nose like clitorii and breasts, like their noses could honk crowned with conical spiral pattered nipples. Many clown girls also exhibited other qualities such as buck teeth, four fingered hands, enlarge eyelashes, fairy wings, antennae and similar. Two main varieties of Clowngirls emerged: Whitefaces (which had a chalk white skin tone leaving aside marking) and Augustas (which came in a variety of colors with white as a secondary). Clowngirls as a general rule mature at a usual human rate, but stop aging in their 20s to late 30s. Older humans would “regress” to this age range as part of their transformation. Clowngirls all have considerable agility, quick reflexes, the ability to regenerate from wounds, a tendency towards physical expression, a love of bright garish colors and patterns and minds which are programmed to constantly find the joke in things and giggle at amusement. They also have a pronounced sweet tooth and a metabolism optimized for eating a lot of high sugar foods to help fuel their high energy behavior.
Regardless of their previous orientation adult Clowngirls are bisexuals strongly biased towards the Lesbian side of the Spectrum with a pronounced coulrophilia. Clowngirls find both human men and women attractive, but find other Clowngirls more attractive. Though it has become an increasingly scarcely indulged passion outside of video recordings recently, Clowngirls also take a particular (if not nessisarily sexual) satisfaction in seeing a human transform into a Clowngirl. While there were some fears at first about the future of this new race without males, these turned out to be for naught. The ovaries of Clowngirls have been modified so that they can produce noses which are released from the vagina. If a nose is put onto an untransformed human’s nose, it will latch on and rapidly turn said human into a new clowngirl (who will take after the maker of said nose and usually develop a bond with them) but if a nose is implanted into another clown’s uterus it will combine with a nose from the other mother and in six month’s time the recipient will give birth to a new infant clowngirl.
Today, the world before the change is hard to imagine. In place of towering big top skyscrapers and vibrant homes in vibrant colors there were bland buildings. Instead of the colorful displays of modern clowngirl fashion and the expressive displays of every day conversation and interactions dully clad men and women walked about through bland days. Instead of mothers encouraging the expressiveness and wimsy of their daughters with proud giggling even mild antics were sneered at.
And so we shall explore some of the stories of how our new world came to be.
