Now it was common knowledge in town that Mary the Witch often had expressed a wish to be a dragon,but had avoided burning off her own magic because
with the form came the diminished intelligence she'd have had as a
dragon.
However now that she had teamed up with some klutz of an offworlder she could
use his <YOU> powers to be a dragon and be smart as well.
And so as the posse rounded the bend and approached the shanty you and the witch were in,they halted
for outside of the shany's door were two figures,you,already
a feeble emaciated wreck and shadow of your previous self,and
Mary,already outgrowing her human clothing,nine feet tall
and still growing and changing.
As the posse watched Mary completed her transformation into a full sized
feral dragoness and took off into the night sky with a roar.
You on the other hand lay twitching in the dirt
and so,once Mary the Dragon was nothing more then a speck in the sky,the posse
came and the Sheriff rolled over your inert form with his cobbled boot
"Mash the Warlocks face" giggled Jethro,the Sheriff's fifth brother
"Mash it good"
"Never you mind" came that deep manly voice of the Sheriff "Never you mind"
And so the posse soon had you tossed onto a spare horse and gagged and bound
As the posse and you headed back into town
Jethro,who seemed to have a particular
dislike for Warlocks
spat your face and said
"Wait till Hanging Judge Hank comes into town tommorrow
he'll strech your neck good Warlock"
