Tricia changed her mind before she reached for the ring.
"And what happens if you use the ring on a whim? You get upset at someone and then they are a baby."
Katie thought for a moment remembering back to when she had that close call with her mother.
"How about this, give me the Ring for the night. We'll be going to that college party later on anyways, so all I'll have to do is make you my current age. I'll give you the ring back tomorrow. If anyone wants to be younger, you can do it then."
"That sounds like a good idea. I'll do it." Katie slowly took off the ring and gave it to Tricia who slipped it on her finger.
"I'm going to change into my costume before we go out trick-or-treating."
"But the college party isn't until later."
"We'll be able to make you older just before we go to the party. We go out trick-or-treating and make you older on the way to the college party. You don't need to change clothes, I'll just focus on making your costumes age appropriate."
Tricia took a few minutes to change into her costume. She took a moment to look at the Dallas Cheerleader costume in the mirror before going to her waiting friends and Kellie.
