Julia drove through the streets, feeling like she was one of those snobby chicks who drove in trucks ten times their size (which she now was). She drove to her favorite diner in the city and parked the Escalade outside. She walked into the diner and took a seat near the back by a window, admiring the truck from inside. She ordered a coffee and a full order of their famous flapjacks. She sat back, thinking about all the things she could do with her new toy.
"You know, a girl of your stature shouldn't be having that big of an order of pancakes if he wants to keep her shape." Julia jumped back at the sound of this sudden voice. From out of nowhere, a middle-aged man with a pointy beard and peppery hair, was sitting in front of her, a gentle smirk on his face. "Don't you want keep that body the way it is, JOHN?" He said. Julia froze at this, but lied.
"I don't know what you're talking about sir, but I have to ask you to leave. My friend is coming soon, and she..."
"Cut the crap John. You can't lie to someone like me. Someone who possesses the power you now hold in that computer of yours." He cut in before she couldn't finish the sentence.
"Honestly, I don't..." Julia started, but was cut off again.
"Honestly, you should be THANKING me for the pure power I have so graciously bestowed upon you." Julia knew there was something up with this guy. She peaked out of the booth to see if there was anyone else near them in the restaurant that could hear.
"Don't worry John, no one can hear us." He said, sipping a coffee that seemed to appear out of midair. "When you've exercised the Power for as long as I have, you know how to get shit done."
"Who are you?" Which was all Julia could conjure up to say.
"Well I told you already." He said, putting the mug down. "I'm the guy. The guy who left that package on your doorstep last night. The one who possesses the power you now have. The one where it originated."
"Wha-" Julia started.
"Let me explain." The man cut in again. "First off, where are my manners. Living on this planet for close to five hundred years and I still don't get the fact that people want to know your name all the time. Robinuus Geordoni, but you can just call me Robin." Robin said, extending his hand. Julia hesitantly shook it. "Now, how about that history, huh?"
